Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number CM33000. This is the CIPA Rear view mirror. The replacement mirror has the ability to switch from a day to night setting, for more comfortable driving. The manual switch is going to be located right here below the mirror face, so very simple to switch between the settings. The unit is designed to fit most only in mountings, wedge style only with the included mounting bracket back here. If your vehicle already has a bracket attached to your windshield, all you've got to do is slide the mirror over the bracket, and then tighten down the set screw.
If the windshield does not have a bracket, you can use the included mount. You want to attach this to the windshield using the professional quality rear view mirror adhesive, and then simply attach the mirror bracket and tighten the screw for a full secure installation. You can see back here it has two pivoting locations. It has a ball and socket joint right here, so that's going to allow this area actually pivot inside the arm. Then, the arm attaching to the mirror is on a ball and socket design too. That way you can adjust the mirror to your particular height.
You can get the angle that you need to best fit your driving situation. This is FMVSS approved. Taking a look at the overall measurements, starting with the overall length. Measuring from edge to edge, it's going to give us some measurement of about 11 3/8 of an inch. Then measuring this direction, edge to edge, right here in the middle, it's going to be about 2 1/2 inches tall.
