When heavy gear or a trailer pushes your suspension down, steering and braking can feel sloppy. The LoadLifter 5000 air springs give your rear axle up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support to keep things level and predictable. By balancing the weight across all four wheels, the truck stays steady under braking, headlights stay aimed right, and tires wear evenly instead of scrubbing out early.
Every load and road is different. With the LoadLifter 5000 you can fine-tune support anywhere from 5 psi up to 100 psi. Pump up both bags evenly to level heavy loads or inflate each side separately to correct off-center cargo. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included, and they’re usually mounted on the bumper for easy access. Add a compressor system later if you want in-cab adjustments—either way, you control how it rides.
Heavy-duty work calls for serious materials. These air springs are built from 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber with high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps that are lighter, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than steel. Air Lift’s exclusive upper and lower roll plates protect the bags against road impacts and even increase their load capacity. Everything mounts up with durable brackets and hardware designed to handle years of towing and hauling.
When the bed’s full or a trailer’s hooked up, bumps can turn into bounce. The LoadLifter 5000 helps calm that down by taking pressure off your factory suspension. The system helps reduce sway, squat, and harsh rebound so the truck feels more planted through turns and over uneven pavement. It’s the kind of stability that makes long drives with a heavy load a lot less tiring.
You don’t need a shop to get better suspension support. The kit comes with mounting brackets, hardware, manual valves, and air lines for a straightforward install using common tools. Just bolt in the springs, route the lines where you want them, inflate through the valves, and you’re ready to roll. Once set up, it’s simple to adjust pressure based on whatever you’re hauling next.

Great product was Incorrect for my B&W hitch but being a welder fabricator I slightly modified the mounts to work properly .the f350 takes the set that mounts to the inside of the spring to work properly these fit atop the spring..

Would love to know your thoughts on them once you're able to try them out with the travel trailer, too! Thanks for sharing the different things you've used them with. Sounds like they are just the ticket for your scenario :)

Things are working well so far. I tow and haul during the spring, summer and fall. The most air I put in the bags was 50 PSI. The air still holds pretty good towing.Time will tell if the bags hold up as the bags age.

Nice job running the Schrader valves through the license plate, that's how I'd do it! '

Glad to hear they are working well for you and they weren't too difficult for your mechanic to get installed, Matthew! Sounds like you have your Taco pretty tricked out! Are you doing an overlanding type thing?

This air lift system has been on my truck for over a year now and it works just fine. I run them with about 20 in the bags and it assists the suspension perfectly.
