Question:

I have a 2007 Ford F250 Super Duty 4wd with a 6 3/4 bed and I am looking to put a gooseneck hitch and some Air Lift bags in the back of it. I am really looking to confirm compatibility of the kits I am looking to buy to insure no problems with installation. I am looking at the BandW Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs - BWGNRK1108 and the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle - AL57291. Will this combination work together without any fitment issues?

I do have a solution, but the Air Lift # AL57291 is only compatible with the B&W 1105 and 1199R. These and other Air Lift air bags will not work with the # BWGNRK1108. What you can use instead is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2400. Even if the Air Lift did fit, I would recommend the Firestone since they have a superior design and will be more reliable. These have the same 5,000 lb load leveling capacity and won't interfere with your B&W hitch once installed.

Since you're installing air bags I would also highly recommend adding an air compressor like the # F2178. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure from the cab of your vehicle wherever you go. It is a dual path system so you can adjust them together or individually for off-center loads.
