Fit and Compatibility of Fifth Wheel with Air Lift 5000 Load Lifters on a 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question:

Will there be any interference between where the mounting brackets attach and the Air Lift load lifters that I have installed on the axle tubes of my truck? The truck is a 01 Ford F-250 Superduty and the load lifters are the 5000# model. The truck presently has a flip gooseneck hitch and there were no clearance issues with it and the load lifters. The reason I ask this question is a salesman at an RV store said there would be, unless special brackets are used. Thanks.

Depending on which part number your Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 is will determine if the RV store is correct or not.

AirLift made special kits to work in combination with the 5th wheels.

# AL57393 will fit with fifth wheel and gooseneck hitch.
# AL57298 will fit with a Reese fifth wheel # RP30869 you were looking at and the # RP30035 installation kit.
# AL57291 will fit on trucks with a B&W fifth wheel hitch 1105 or 1199R.
