Will Air Lift AL57291 Work With B&W Gooseneck 1108 On 2002 Ford F-250?

I have a 2002 f250. Rear wheel drive with the Bandw goosneck hitch. 1108. I want to install airlift airbags but it says will only work with Bandw 1105 or 1199r. What is the difference between 1108 and 1105 because I can’t see a difference.

Hey Justin, good question. First, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57291 is the correct kit for your 2002 F250. Second, the B&W 1105 and 1199r are both older part numbers that are no longer made. The 1105 was replaced with the 1108, so those two fits are technically the same.
That said, We have heard mixed results for people who have tried to install air bags with the 1108. Some have told us everything fits together perfectly, while others have said you may have to drill a hole in the gooseneck hitch brackets to make it compatible. Either way you should be able to make it work.
The picture I included shows the Air Lift # AL57291 installed with a gooseneck hitch so you can get an idea of what they look like together.
