Exact oem replacement for the steps on my Tiffin. Once installed, they worked like new and are quieter and stronger.

The motor upgrade kit for my Kwikee electric steps that I ordered was as advertised. Everything was in the kit which made it a lot easier to install. The video that I watched at e trailer on installing the kit was very helpful. The people from e trailer where very very helpful.

The part was exactly what I required, the price beat the competition, the service was great and the shipping was on time. Exceeded my expectations. As for the step kit. With the very detailed instructions the old one came out and the new one was installed with no problems at all. I can't believe folks pay hundreds of dollars to have someone else do this. Hey Donald, so we do have a solution, but due to your 903206000 Kwikee Series 32 steps being made in 2003, there isn't a standalone gearbox and motor available, as Lippert (which is Kwikee) changed all the parts after 2006. That means you'll need an upgrade kit which is a new motor, gearbox, and control unit in order to work, and the correct part is the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC29VR.

Replacement Parts for Kwikee Steps on 2003 Itasca Horizon
I'm not entirely sure what the difference is between the old and the upgraded controllers aside from the fact that the old model doesn't have a direct replacement. They made a change to the steps after 2005 moving to the integrated system which uses a different controller. Anything manufactured from 1999-2005 used pre-IMGL components and the old replacement parts are no longer available. Replacement Step Motor for 2001 Class A RV with Kwikee 32 Series Steps
If your steps are original to your 2001 Class A motorhome then you need the Motor Upgrade Kit # LC29VR as there isn't a direct replacement for the controller and/or motor. The only other option would be to completely replace the steps but that isn't as cost-effective as this unit. Motorhome steps aren't the cheapest thing so replacing anything significant on them will require a bit of change to do so.
