Replacement Gearbox and Motor for Single 35 Series Kwikee Step on 1999 Motorhome

Question:

I current have a Series 35 single step, in a 1999 Windsor Monoco. The Gearbox and motor need replacing. My 909513 controller is still good. The Big Gear in the current gearbox is all broken. I have the curved linkage, which I believe is the A linkage described. My current motor has two wires coming out of it, a red and yellow. I dont see any wire leads coming out of your pictures of this assembly. Are they there, but just not shown? So can you confirm this is the correct replacement/upgrade for my trailer? I have the old unit on my workbench. I also can get access to the controller if you have any questions related to it. Again, a Kwikee 35 series single step is what I currently have, in a Monaco Windsor..1999. thank you

Since your motorhome was made in 1999 it means you need the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC29VR, which includes the gearbox, motor, and updated controller. The steps that are older than 2000 came with parts that are no longer available so your options are to use the upgrade kit that replaces/updates everything or install a new step.
