Solution for Replacing Motor, Linkage, and Controller of 1999 Kwikee Series 32 RV Steps

Question:

1999 model Kwikee 32 series RV electic steps. Step frame is in great condition looking for a kit to replace the motor, gear linkage and controller. Is there one available?

Hey Val, we have what you are looking for but since your steps are a bit older what you'd need is the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor Conversion/Upgrade Kit part # LC29VR. This will upgrade your steps to the current version of the 32 series and will get it working again. How do you like the steps?

You might want to remove this answer from your site since it is not correct. After reading a lot of information and discovering that 1999 (age of MH) was such a cutoff date, we dug deeper and found the Serial Number. My husband, Bill, submitted it last week, then I called when we had not received an answer. Today we got the answer that # LC29VR is the correct kit for our steps. We are assuming that it was a pre-1999 step installed on the 1999 motorhome. Of course, now that I have the answers the conversion kits have gone up in price $50 :(
