Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this B&B polar white RV gravity water inlet hatch. This gravity fill freshwater inlet is going to let you update your RV's worn out or damaged hatch on your RV. And let me go ahead and just give you some overall dimensions right up front so you will have a good idea if this will work for you or not. So, looking at the overall width first, as you can see, we're sitting right at five inches.
And then, looking at the overall height from bottom to top, we're sitting pretty close to six and a quarter inches tall. And then looking at the cutout, the width first, we're sitting pretty close to, right about three and one eighth inches wide on the cutout. Let me see if I can show you the height of the cutout. That might be a little bit trickier. It looks like we're sitting right at about four and three eighths inches tall on that cutout.
And then, the collar depth is right at an inch. And then the total depth, almost three inches. I'm gonna call it right at about two and three quarters inches on that total depth, two and three quarters inches. Now, this gravity fill opening and spout is going to let you fill your fresh water tank. And this does use a barbed connection as you probably already saw in the back here.
And that barbed connection is going to work for one and three eighths inch, or one and a quarter inch hose to tank. And then the twist on cap here, is going to hold fast to keep the fill clean and prevent possible water loss. As you can see, it is tethered, so you're not gonna have to worry about easily losing this cap. And then we do also have an air vent. Hopefully, you can see that right there.
Lemme take this off again. So, air vent right there. It's going to balance air pressure for smooth water flow. And then, what you're gonna do is you're going to attach a three eighths of an inch tubing, which is sold separately, right there. And then this is a locking door. I'm just gonna insert the key, give it a turn. So, that's going to lock that door into place. This does come with a global link key. So, it's gonna be very easy to lock and unlock, just like that. So, this is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic. So, this isn't going to fade or yellow. It's gonna be resistant to impact and salt, feels very durable. I think it's gonna be very long lasting, and it's gonna be able to hold up really well to the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. This is NSF, IAPMO, CSA, and TEI certified. This does include everything that you see here on my table. Of course, you're going to get the key, you're gonna get the screws to mount this. If you notice the screws are, the head of the screws are color matched, so it's gonna blend right in to the white plastic here. Then you're also going to get butyl tape, so you won't have to worry about leaks coming in through the screws, water, moisture, anything like that. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
