Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this B&B, Polar White, RV Electric Cable Hatch. This molded plastic cable hatch is going to support your RV power cords and other electrical cables up to a 50 amp cord. The open back, as you saw there, is going to allow for direct pass-through. And before we go any further, let me give you some measurements just so you can be confident this is going to be the one that's gonna work for you. We do have other sizes available here.
Now looking at the outside width, we're sitting right at about 8, right at about 8 inches wide. And then the height, about 8-1/2 inches tall. Looking at the cutout dimensions, looking at that width, about 6-3/8 inches wide. And then the height, about 6-7/8 inches tall. And if you're wondering about that collar depth, I wanna say we're right at about an inch on that collar depth.
So the access door is going to accept the cord when open and it's going to sit flush when closed to keep the rodents and insects out. So you can see it's very easy to open and close when you have the door open. Then of course, you're gonna be able to secure your valuable extension cords with the key lock, and one key is included. As you can see, that's how it locks there. So you'll be able to secure your cords.
We'll go ahead and unlock that. And then the flange here is going to secure to your exterior wall with the supplied hardware. Gonna be very easy installation. This is made here in the USA of UV-stabilized plastic, so you're not gonna have to worry about this yellowing over time. It's gonna resist impact and salt.
It's gonna do a great job of holding up against the elements that's going to be constantly exposed to. This is NSF, CSA, and TEI certified. And it includes everything that you see here on my table before me. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
