The built-in rain shield surrounds the vent opening so that you can use it in rain or shine. The shield blocks rainwater and other debris from entering through the vent and damaging the interior of your RV or camper. It also eliminates the need to install a separate vent cover.
The fan guard protects your fan from water and debris when mounted on the side of your RV. The guard slides over your vent with the solid end facing up to block rainwater and allow run-off, while the slotted end faces down to allow ventilation. The push-button handle lets you open and close the lid of your vent with ease - no hand-cranking needed. Simply push the button and push up to open the lid, or pull down to close the lid. I installed this as a bathroom fan through the sidewall of my T@B teardrop camper. Works great.

etrailer yall got yo do something about your terrible shipping. I mean order on 7th of March delivered by Pony Express on the 15th. Yall got to do better. Not ordering again unless they ship thru someone other than USPS! Slowest Shipping on internet!
It works nice but it does not stay latched closed. Will open every time you travel or get a strong wind.
Install very easy I am going to use it to exhaust hot air when camping and I have a portable air conditioner in the van the hose will go right out the vent size 2 purposes

One year later this little fan is going strong venting a 3x3’ bathroom. I leave it open with the fan off for air intake sometimes too. Keeps heavy rain out when open and parked. I close it when driving in rain just in case, but have not tested it’s rain shedding ability while driving.

I’ve ordered lots of parts for my camper from each etrailer. I’m always satisfied.
I bought two of these fans to use in my bus conversion, one for the shower and one for the toilet room. Both are installed horizontally, and work well for exhausting excess vapor and bathroom odors. I am only giving them 4 stars because I have already had to reattach one of the fans to the motor shaft. I believe it was loose from shipping, but I feel like the fit of the fan and shaft could have been better.
This fan is terribly noisy and is too loud to run while sleeping. Occasionally it seems to run smoothly but not before going back to making a racket. Wish it was not so noisy as the install and size are perfect for my setup.
I will be attempting to strip the insides and replace with a Computer fan wired into the switch as I want something quiet for ventilation
Our '86 34' Airstream is getting all new roof components including this bathroom fan. The appeal of this kit is the included spacer so everything I need for proper inside flange alignment will be on hand when the interior skins goes back in. Excellent price, quick shipping.
I bought 2 of these for a 12 by 20 off grid shed. one in shower stall and 1 above stove burners. they work great. just remember to crack a window or door so the air can be replaced. they seal closed nicely when not used. been using for about a year now.

It works well but fan blade started vibrating not long after installation so kinda loud, does move some serious air though

I've had this fan for a year and use it daily to circulate the air through my van. It's simple and works fine. It would be nice if it had a reverse capability and or different speeds. But for the money, it is great.
It was scary cutting a hole in the roof to install this, but I followed the directions, and it has not leaked in several Texas and Florida thunderstorms.
Fan is... pretty good. It's quite loud, though it does move a good amount of air. The only real issue I have is the raising/lowering mechanism is a bit 'loose' and feels a bit sloppy. I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long run, but time will tell. Unfortunately, there just aren't really any competing products for this kind of smaller form factor.
