Hello, neighbors. Steven here, with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our B&B Gravity Water Inlet, and it has a nice hatch and built-in key and lock, and it's black in color. Folks, with this gravity-fill fresh water inlet, you can replace a worn out or damaged hatch on your RV. It does have the included barbed spout connection. And it works with 1 3/8 inch or 1 1/4 inch hoses.
Has a nice air vent attached to it. That's that guy back there. And you can kind of see it there a little better. So that's gonna vent the air while it's filling up. And you've got the twist on cap here.
Simply opens and twists back on when it's closed. Pretty simple, right Comes with the key and lock. Keep it locked when you're not using it. Open when you need it. And you also get six screws to mount it.
There are six corresponding holes, three on the top, three on the bottom, or vice versa. And you get a nice roll of butyl tape. So butyl tape, if you're not familiar, is basically a waterproof, sticky substance, kind of like the texture of putty, if you will. And what you'll do is, you'll take that, if you cut your hole out, you'll put that down all over those holes. And then when you open the hatch from this side, you'll screw in the screws right through the butyl tape and it's gonna make a watertight seal.
You also get the nice screws that have all been painted black on each end cap there, to match up and keep the color consistent. It's made here in the USA. Has a nice air vent, like I mentioned. That air vent's gonna attach via a 3/8 inch tubing to the tank so water flows out nice and smooth. It also allows the air to escape as you fill it so you don't get the gurgling and that kind of stuff. Now the whole thing is UV-stabilized, not gonna fade or anything. It's a nice high-density plastic. It's resistant to impact and salt from the road and that kind of stuff. That twist on cap, as I showed you earlier, was tethered in place, so it's not gonna fall off. And in case you're wondering, it's been TEI certified, NSF certified, IAPMO, and also, CSA certified as well. As far as some dimensions, the cutout dimension is gonna be 4 3/8 inches long, 3 1/8 tall. The outside dimensions overall is 6 1/4 long by five inches wide. And the collar depth here, is about one inch deep. And the total depth, if you count to the end of that hose, so just from the inside here back there, is 2 3/4 inches deep. Nice one year warranty. Again, this is the B&B Gravity Water Inlet with the included hatch and lock, black color. I'm Steven. Have a great day, and thanks so much for watchin'.
