Today, we're going to take a look at the Valterra Gravity Fill Water Inlet for RVs. This one's black in color. This Valterra Water Inlet is for an RV. It's a gravity fill design. It's made of UV stabilized plastic. If you can see right here at the top, there's a vent.
Right down here, it's a 1/2 inch air vent for a fast fill. It does use a bayonet style cap that you just twist to release it, and then twist it back on to connect it. If you notice, the nice thing is the cap is connected to this tether which will keep it connected so you won't misplace the cap. The other thing is your connector right here, you can twist that. You can see that will slide right out also, and to put it back in, just twist it into place.
Put your cap on and it's all ready to go. This part does include everything showing here, has the inlet is included, three of the installation screws, and the putty tape for installation. Again, the color of this is black. Just to give you a few dimensions on this, the overall from edge to edge, overall diameter on this is going to 4 1/2 inches. The cut out diameter is going to be right at about 3 1/2 inches. That should do it for the review on the Valterra Gravity Fill Water Inlet for RVs, black in color..

I haven't installed this yet, but the screws and sealant were included. This is thinner plastic than expected but overall quality is good. This new water fill will be used to replace the old cracked one on my Airstream. A larger cutout is needed for this to fit.
