Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our B&B RV Water Center city water and the gravity fill option as well. Has a built-in plastic check valve, and it's a lockable with key polar white color. So folks, with this dual water hatch, you're gonna be able to provide both a gravity fill port and a city water hookup inlet on your RV or camper. Now the gravity fill opening and the spout will let you fill your fresh-water tank, and it's gonna use a barbed connection on the back. It has both a 1 1/4 inch or 1 3/4 inch barbed fitting, depending on your needs.
Now the hookup back here is a 1/2 inch MPT, or metal pipe thread fitting, to connect inside the RV system. They both have twist-on caps to keep everything nice and secure. And this one even has the built-in screen filter as well. Now inside of this one here is a built-in plastic check valve. That's gonna keep water from only going one way and keep everything pressurized from back flowing.
Now it is a nice fit into the hatch itself. You also have a push and remove or push and push all the way rather. The way when you got your hose hooked up here, you can easily see it and have the hose sticking out. And like I said, this is lockable. It does come with one included key.
Simply lock it or unlock it for whenever you need to open it. So very simple construction. It does also include all the mounting screws to mount it. You're gonna get all these, they're all painted white already. And they also give you a nice roll of butyl tape.
Now if you've never used this or you're not familiar, butyl tape is like a putty. It's sticky, but weather and waterproof. So you'll make your cutout if you don't already have one, and you'll put the butyl tape all around on the flat surface. Then you'll come from the other side, install it, putting all the screws in place and going through the butyl tape with the screws, creating a watertight connection. As far as some dimensions, the cutout is 5 7/8 inches long by 4 7/8 inches high. And as far as the outside, overall it's 7 5/8 inches long by 6 1/2 inches tall. The depth here on the collar itself is 1 1/2 inches deep. Folks, it is made here in the US, has a nice one year warranty, and it's been NSF, CSA, TEI, and IAPMO certified. Now, one last thing to mention before we finish here, you can kind of see in here, you've got those little holes and dash, whatever you wanna call 'em, holes, that is your air vent. So it does require a 3/8 inch tubing that's not included to your tank, and that's gonna balance the air pressure from much smoother and consistent water flow. Well folks, again, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for looking at this water semi Water Center, city water and gravity fill connection. I'm Steven, have a great one.

Now I can once again take showers in the desert in Quartzsite Az.
Would not fit standard opening on trail er.
