Features to know about

Versatile Airflow Control: Two-Way Pop-Up Vent Design

Imagine being able to direct airflow precisely where you need it, regardless of wind direction. The Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent by Redline brings this flexibility with its two-way adjustable lid. You can choose to open the vent towards the front or the rear, letting you optimize air circulation while keeping rain out. This feature ensures a fresh breeze or a rain shield, perfect for trailers, vans, or utility vehicles.

Built to Last: Heavy-Duty Steel Construction

Durability is crucial when your vent faces the elements. This vent's rugged steel construction promises long-lasting performance and sturdiness. It's not just about strength, though; the black paint finish enhances durability and adds an attractive appearance, ensuring it withstands rust and the ravages of time.

Stay Bug-Free: Built-In Protective Screen

Enjoy the fresh air without inviting uninvited guests into your vehicle. The integrated, heavy-duty screen is designed to keep out bugs, leaves, and debris, giving you peace of mind whenever you open the vent. It's a small feature packed with significant benefits for uninterrupted ventilation.

End Water Leaks: Included Gasket

Leaky vents are a thing of the past. With the included gasket, you can install this vent confidently, knowing it's designed to prevent water leaks. This thoughtful addition makes sure your trailer's interior stays dry, even during a downpour.

Effortless Operation: Convenient Lever System

Nobody wants to fumble around looking for a lever in the heat of the moment. That's why this vent comes with a lever running the length of the vent, making opening and adjusting the vent straightforward and hassle-free. It’s easy to find and even easier to operate.

Room for Customization: Optional Interior Trim Piece

For those who appreciate a neat finish, this vent offers an optional interior trim piece (sold separately) to complete your setup perfectly. This addition ensures that while the vent functions excellently, it also leaves your trailer looking sharp from the inside out.

  • Can The Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent Be Used In The Open Position To Pressurize Trailer Interior?
I have seen both the Steel # 9106 and Aluminum # RV-626-062 Pop-Up Vents used in a open position to allow the air to blow into the trailer while driving. While I do not see the manufacturer having any kind of speed rating on these I would be hesitant to the speed or having them opening forward depending on the material you are mounting it to. Since some trailers only use fiberglass shells I would not find that material secure enough to hold the vent open while driving. But if you have a...

  • Is there a Handle for the Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent?
Hey Anthony, welcome back! Glad you got both the Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vents item # 9106 installed. I'm sorry but there is no handle attachment for them. I read the same thing you did that the vents just need to be broken in and until they are they're going to be difficult to open. What year Promaster do you have?

  • Replacement Vent for Sidewall of Toy Hauler
Although the # 9106 vent is primarily designed for use on the roof of a trailer, there's no reason why it couldn't be used on the sidewall. The vent is designed for a 11-1/8" long x 5-1/2" wide rough opening, so if the opening on your trailer wall is similarly sized, the vent would work well for you. An interior trim piece, part # 2756 is also available.

  • Depth of the Redline Garnish part # 2756
The leg length or the depth that the garnish part # 2756 has is right at 2 inches. From the picture you submitted it looks like you installed the roof vent part # 9106 with the mounting flange on the inside of the trailer. The vent should be installed with the mounting flange on the outside of the trailer and then use the garnish to cover up the opening you cut. In that configuration the garnish would conceal the hole you cut and the rivets. It can also be trimmed shorter if needed.

  • Comparison Between the Aluminum 2-Way Roof Vent # RV-626-062 and the Black 2-Way Vent # 9106
For all intents and purposes there really is no functional difference between the Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106 and the Ventilator, Pop Up 2-Way Aluminum with Screen # RV-626-062. Either would work just as well as the other with the only real difference being that one is painted black and the other is aluminum. Both could be used as a top vent.

  • Can A RV Roof Vent Be Installed On The Side Of A Trailer
Absolutely! With that being said most of the roof vents like the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-04500K are not designed to be installed on the side of your trailer, and may leak if not installed on the roof. Instead I recommend the Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106 which can be installed on the side of your trailer as you can see in the included picture. You will need 12 mounting screws like # 31071, and Silicone # 0160297 to secure the vent...

  • Does Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent 9106 Come With Cut Out Template
A cut out template is not included with the Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106. So you will need to do some measuring before installation, and it will install in an opening of roughly 11-1/8" long x 5-1/2" wide. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.

  • Availability Of Ceiling Garnish For RV Roof Vent Fan In 2009 Ford E-250 Majestic
it sounds like you are looking for the Ceiling Garnish for MaxxAir Maxxfan RV Roof Vent - White # MA54FR which fits 13-1/2" x 13-1/2" cutouts, and will be right at 16" x 16" from outside of flange to outside of flange. This garnish is a trim to fit, so it will fit any roof thickness. You will just trim it as necessary to get the tight, great fit you are looking for. Since ceiling garnishes are pretty much universal you should have no issues installing the # MA54FR in your 2009 Ford E-250...

The entire length and width of the Redline Replacement Exterior Pop-up Roof Vent # 9106 are 13-1/2 by 8 inches. The opening measures 9-1/2 by 4 inches. I've attached a picture that may make it more clear.

The Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Smoke # V3092-603-00 you mentioned is a great option. You do not need to add an interior garnish, however, I do recommend you use a frame of some sort for your vent to have the installation screws attach to. If it were me, I'd use the Ceiling Garnish for Ventline Roof Vent - 2-1/8" Leg - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Polar White # VA0445-34 to finish the frame out. • Roof Vent with Fan Recommendation for an Ambulance in Africa
I think your best option would be the Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # VP-543SP. This is pretty compact and would allow you to vent the inside of your ambulance. The design of this would prevent water from coming as well. You could even run two of these. One wired up the standard way to act as an exhaust fan and then wire up the other one in reverse so that it will pull outside air in.

  • Can a Solar Powered Plumbing Vent be Used on an Enclosed Car Hauler Trailer
You could use plumbing vent # UF53-945001 for your enclosed car hauler trailer. On the inside what I would do is get some screen (like for windows) that does not restrict air flow (as good for air flow as you can find) and cover the opening on the inside of the trailer. But this fan has a very low cubic feet per minute air movement rating and might not be the best option. Another option is to use vent # HMAV2-AVT2 or # WHMAV2-WAVT2. The openings point down so installed on the side or front...

  • Screw Recommendation for Installing Trailer Roof Vent # 9106
The recommended screws for installing the part # 9106 that you referenced is the # 31071. This would work well on a sheet metal trailer wall/roof. The garnish part # 2756 would then fit over them just fine.

The Redline oval-shape Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106 is not offered in white nor does it comes in a plastic version, but we do offer it in unpainted aluminum as part # RV-626-062. We also have this vent with a garnish (interior trim piece) included as part # 9106-2756 in black steel and as part # RV-626-062-2756 in aluminum. All include a gasket to prevent leaks.

  • Roof Vent Recommendation for Enclosed Trailer with 11" Roof Framing
The closest that we have for your application is the Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent - Steel - 13-1/2" x 8" - Black # 9106 which fits a rough opening size of 11-1/8" long x 5-1/2" wide. It sounds like you might be looking for a really long custom-made vent which aren't able to produce, but you can install a few of these along your roof if this design is closer to what you're looking for.

  • Can The Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106 Fit On A Freightliner Columbia Sleep Cab
Hey Javier, The Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106 could potentially work but you'll want to take some measurements first to confirm. This vent requires a 11-1/8" long x 5-1/2" wide cutout hole. The overall dimensions are 13-1/2" long x 8" wide so you'll also need to verify that this will work with any other accessories mounted to the roof. If comes with a gasket to prevent water from leaking in but I'd highly recommend putting a healthy glob of self-leveling sealant # 34427034145-1...

Although we don't have anything specifically designed for a Van, and RV roof vent would serve your purpose. The Fan-Tastic 12V powered roof fan, part # FV803350 would be a good choice. The powered fan is reversible so it can be used to bring in fresh air or to exhaust hot air out. The fan features a thermostatically controlled 3 speed motor.
