Question:
There appears to be two bolt holes to the rear of the mounting frame. The hole closest to the front hole is 8 inches but my steps use the rear hole. What should te distance be between the front bolt hole and the furthest bolt hole at the rear? Appears the be about 8 7/8. My steps are on a 2018 Tiffin Allegro Ipen Road 34PA.

Hi Ron,
The mounting bolt pattern for the Kwikee 34 Series RV Electric Steps part # LC3722863 is 26" x 8" but they include extra holes and slotted configurations to accommodate different chassis crossmembers. As long as you're still using one bolt in each corner of the mounting plate you are safe to use the rear hole and not the front one. To make sure the frame stays completely square to the camper when installing them, tighten the two front bolts at the same time. This will help prevent the frame from twisting if one side is tightened more than the other during install.
Are you replacing original Kwikee steps or are these an upgrade?

Looking to replace existing steps. Old part number on steps is 903409000 but I'm thinking that the 34 series DBL steps will suit my needs. All other dimensions conform to what I have now.
