This setup gives you everything you need right out of the box—two 53" long aluminum WingBar Evo crossbars, four Evo Fixpoint feet, and a custom fit kit. It installs to fixed mounting points on your roof for a solid base that feels stable under load. With a 165-lb weight capacity (always observe your vehicle’s maximum roof load), it’s ready for weekend camping gear or heavier cargo boxes for long hauls.
The bars have an aero-style shape that helps smooth airflow over your roof, reducing wind noise and the low droning sounds you can get from traditional square bars. Split rubber strips in the top channels seal around your mounts and help quiet vibration while you’re driving. The result is a calmer ride, even when the rack is loaded up with gear.
You don’t have to choose between different attachment styles. These bars work with accessories that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars, so you can use both channel-mount gear like kayak or ski carriers and traditional clamp-on options. The split-strip design makes mounting even easier—just slide your accessory into place without trimming rubber inserts.
The rack is compatible with Thule One-Key System locks (sold separately). Once installed, they let you lock both the rack and any channel-mounted accessories using a single key. It’s a simple way to deter theft when you stop at a trailhead or leave your gear overnight on a trip.

Both cross bars came in with a little dent on about the same spot as if the shipping box got hit and resulted in a small but noticeable couple of dents on both.
Installed them anyway to be able to use them this weekend but for the price I paid would have expected them in pristine conditions.
Looks good and installs easily on a 2017 Accord. When paired with Thule Evo Feet for a naked roof, the system creates a tea-kettle whistle at speeds above 40 mph. I have yet to locate the precise source of the sound, but it seems to be somewhere between the mounting area and the end of the overhanging bar.
The towers are whistling like crazy at speeds over 45mph and have tried moving them back and forth to different positions to see if it would fix it but it hasn’t. Installed them identical to your instructional videos. I was going to see if anyone had suggested using silicone to seal any gaps before I return them. Not happy at all about paying over $xxx for this system only for the feet to sound like something bought from [chain superstore]. Please advise.
Install was pretty straight forward. I did have to drill holes on the roof gutters for the fixed point bolts (2024 Mazda 3 5dr). Shipping was delayed by a month but it was not due to etrailers fault.
The roof rack is performing like a champ.

Solid, dependable and easy to take off occasionally so I can go thru the car wash. I've used 3 different kayak saddles on my crossbars and they all fit as expected.
Appreciative that etrailer organizes it so that I didn't have to think too hard/figure out what Thule equipment would work best for my 2015 VW Passat TDI SE. It takes some time to install, moving the bars back and forth so that the padding lines up as best possible for a naked roof; overall, very pleased.

This was the part I needed to add Thule kayak lift to my roof rack. System costs a fortune, but all is well made and works great.
An excellent product, like all of Thule's components. I would caution customers to be sure that these bars will work with the attachments you plan to use. Some require adapter kits, which might not be needed on a different style of bar. Etrailer's customer service is very helpful & has very responsive experts to answer all questions.

Bought this as a set along with a set of locks. They did not have the locks in stock, so when I went ahead of canceled that portion of the order, they were able to process and ship it out the next day. It took roughly 1 week for it to arrive.
Following the instructions they provide you with was fairly simple, there was a QR code scan for a video that you can watch as well. I assembled this along with ski carriers that I had as well. I did struggle a little bit with the spacing I needed to fit my snowboard, but it wasn't too much of a hassle.
After assembling it, I was impressed with how it looked and also how stable and tight it was when I was trying to shake it around. As for the test drive, I was very impressed with how there was no wind whistle and they did not fall off (peaked at 70mph).
Overall, I would say it's definitely worth it to buy a good quality cross bar set. And more importantly it was worth it to purchase it from a retailer that does a good job processing and shipping your order without any issues!

The included written instructions would have been sufficient for a seamless installation but I also watched one of many YouTube videos that demonstrated very clearly every step of assembly and installation for this specific set of racks.

Thule rack looks great on my Kia Telluride. The pieces took a while to get to me because they were on backorder but it's not etrailer, they were on backorder everywhere. I messed up a piece of the rubber while installing and etrailer sent me another one free of charge. Would definitely recommend etrailer.
The fixed point feet fit perfectly on the EVO cross bar, but typical of Thule the channel for the feet kept them 2” to far apart. Thule wants you to always buy complete new sets of everything. I extended the channel by 1” on each side. Everything fit perfectly.
I'm using these Thule Evo Fixpoint Feet #710701 in conjunction with the FitKit #87003 to mount my DropRack XL to the rooftop of my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Eventually I'll get a Thule Rooftop Cargo Box to transport our RV camping supplies for which we don't have enough room in the Jeep or our Aliner RV camper. For now, I'm also using the setup to transport 4' x 8' plywood sheets for a DIY home project. This is the perfect solution for a multi-use application that'll enable us to accomplish more projects around the house as well as on the road.
