Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at these Thule replacement ribbed cover strips. These strips are going to replace the rubber cover strips for the top and bottom mountain rail for your Thule Elite Van XT bike rack. Now this will work for the two models that you see on the screen there, so if you have either one of those you can trust these are going to be the exact replacement from Thule. So no worries about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. Just like your originals, these will press into the top and bottom T channels and then you can trim them to fit your application.
They do come in an original length of about 29 and a half inches long, and you are gonna get two strips one for the top and one for the bottom of your mounting rail so that you can make sure that everything is just like it was originally.
