I am very happy with this product. I ordered it shortly before moving from New Mexico back to the east coast as I needed the extra cargo space and a way to transport my bicycle. No issues on the drive. The rack held several large duffle bags and my bike with some room to spare.
The rack assembly and installation was pretty straightforward. No real issues there.
So far so good.
I love it. I had to get a step for the door to make it easier the removal and to secure the bike. But other than that no problems

The Rhino-Rack XTray rack is great. Pretty straightforward assembly. Instructions were a little lacking. Delivery was prompt and order entry a breeze. Very satisfied.
The Rhino Rack has been the perfect addition to my Outback. It looks great, and I love the built-in through-axel bike mounts. It's nice not to have to have an additional mount for my bicycles! Is this the perfect cargo basket?
Phenomenal Product. We purchased for our 1200 mile road trip in August 2019 to Sedona the coast and back home in Northern California. Everything was safe and secure our entire trip & no problems other than lots of bugs to clean off our rack & baskets when we arrived at our final destination. We would highly recommend this product and the excellent customer service at etrailer.com.
Great rack. But you need to get some type of step to make it easier to place/remove bicycles.
RhinoRack XTray basket with bike carrier. Works great. Easy to install. Attachment mechanism is very flexible, so I would imagine it would fit just about any roof rack. It is quite heavy duty. I have lifted the rack onto an SUV by myself, but it is much easier with two people as it is almost 50lbs. The bike carrier is set up for thru-axle bikes (15x100mm), but adapters to standard 9mm quick release axles are readily available. The rear wheel of a large 29er mountain bike rests on the rear bar of the basket. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.
Quality and appearance of the rack is excellent (although it did come missing one set of attachment bolts. I just went and picked up a similar set from [harware store] Installation and removal is very easy. I have a Tonneau retractable hard cover that runs underneath it so you have to be a bit careful to not scratch the top if your trying to take it off and on by yourself. Two person install/removal is a breeze :-)... Provides and awesome look to the truck. Haven't gone very far with the bikes in, but they seem to ride just fine in the slots provided. Rack does obstruct ability to access bed of truck. I used to leave it on frequently just for the look, but now I leave it off unless I'm actually going to be using it. Great quality product. How useful it is will rest is the use profile of the user.
Great cargo basket for having some extra space to store items or throw your bikes on and hit the trails. I use it for transporting a ladder, bikes, wheels, tool boxes, etc. I take it off in the winter due to the possibility of snow & road salt corroding the metal. Overall great rack and provides the right amount of extra space.
Solid and sturdy construction. A little difficult to join together initially due to the water proof rubber fittings getting in the way. Apart from that, every else very easy and quick to assemble. Very good quality.

The Rack is holding up very well after one year
Quick delivery, and it showed up in an undamaged box. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there and it only took about a half hour of leisure work to get it on the car.
I chose this rack for the multi-functionality and it has been perfect for that. I've gone on several long road trips with two bikes attached to the rack and had zero issues with the thru axle mounts. The basket is a perfect size for extra gear on those long trips. The rack itself is sturdy and has no rusting or fading after a year of use and exposure.
Great rack. It's held up great after the 1st year. I have Rotopax, recovery tracks, an axe and a shovel strapped to this thing and I still load more gear on it. Great piece of hardware.

Great etrailer.com service, AGAIN. While almost all other retailers are back ordering these type cargo baskets (yes I'm talking about you, [other vendor] with your 6 weeks and counting shipping delay) etrailer delivered my Rhino-Rack Thursday after I ordered on Saturday. I haven't mounted it yet, but I will try to attach pictures later when I do.
Less than a year later it started to rust (this is made of steel). The welds are poorly made. I wish the angle of the thru-axle hanger was pointed upwards rather than downwards (really tight space to tighten the front fork to the rack). If I could return it still, I would without hesitation.

Thank you for your review! When it comes to rust, you may be able to lightly sand the rusty areas and touch them up with paint to prevent rust growth. Stowing the rack away from the elements can help, too.

Heavy duty; will use it on our Volvo XC90 to haul bikes, gear and dog crates while on vacation...have not attached it to the car yet.. But assembly was easy...

After one year of owning this rack I can say I have no regrets. It still looks great. I can carry gear and two bikes. It’s exactly what I wanted and I would highly recommend it. Install is a breeze. It’s a great rack.

Pretty good. Very happy. Rugged and works really well. only the slightest bit of rust on some of the welds however, I live near gulf of Mexico and the salt air is pretty humid. I dont consider this a product issue. over all great product and happy I chose it. I get asked quite frequently about it from others so I am sure a few you all sold were from my recommendations.
