Tricky to rivet tracks onto car with a manual riveter but once done, a great solution for the car with ease of bar removal. My only regret was going with the square bars which result in notable increase in wind noise.
Assembly directions were explanatory - the sub-assemblies done at the warehouse made it even easier. The parts went together with no effort. I have a 11.5 foot, 65-lb. kayak that will be carried on the roof rack whenever I travel over 30 miles. I normally tie it down in the truck bed for trips under 30 miles. I have a tri-fold cover for my truck bed and the Rhino Rack 2500 allows me to use the truck bed for gear that can be stowed there on extended fishing trips.

I was in a roof rack jam. There was a national shortage of the rack I needed for my car and our summer vacation was a week away. I went to etrailer.com when I couldnt find the roof rack anywhere else on the web. Another website actually suggested that they might have what I needed.

While the quality of all the parts I received and the service I got deserved 5 stars, the fact that the clips which hold the rack onto my roof don't fit (and I was assured they would) gets etrailer 3 stars. My truck is a 2006 Silverado 3500 extended cab and the brackets will not fit over the door rubber and slip under the steel rain gutter. I was told these should fit and they are the only clips they have. Looks like I will have to modify them myself to get everything to work.
I’ve had this rhino rack for over 3 years and it’s been excellent on long road trips to the ski slopes. A year after my purchase, I realized that I was missing the plastic coverings that attached to the end of the bars and called their customer service to resolve the missing pieces. I was impressed with their quick response and seamless delivery.
Assembled and installed the roof rack today. I used your websites video's to guide me. Didn't have any problems, everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this company. The product was very well made.
Product installation instructions were fair, and that is the worst thing I have to say. I havent put anything on the rack yet as I just installed it, but I gave a good tug on the bars and they are SOLID. The product came in a reasonable amount of time, and the feedback for etrailer is that I got followup emails at each step of the process keeping me fully informed right up to the message asking for feedback.
Bottomline: etrailer is a great business to work with, and this product seems to be good too.

He recommended the Curt Front Mount Hitch Receiver Custom and a Thule Goal Post Hitch Mounted Load Bar (which I already had). I also purchased a Rhino Rack Square Bar Roof Rack. I received my order promply. I installed both products ( with the help of my 8 year old grandson Hayden ) I am very happy with the quality and easy installation of all products i have ordered from etrailer in the past. I will continue to do so in the future. Now we will be able to take our kayaks while pulling our 5th wheel. Thank-you etrailer!

After a year of use I can say that this rack and it's fit kit is not bulletproof, but it's darn close!
I give it 4 stars because it is not obvious what is loose if one of the feet start to creep on the roof. WHEN YOU DETECT CREEP BE SURE TO CHECK ALL OF THE CONNECTORS ON THE BAR! Not just the one that "must" be loose!
It took me about 2 months to figure this out and the rack is a design forgiving enough that after about 2,000 miles I still have an undamaged kayak and roof!
High-quality, sturdy rails, but noisy. There was a pronounced and audible whistle driving with these racks at any common road or highway speed (with the rubber inserts installed across the top). I have since replaced these rails with the Rhino vortex aero style (change of vehicles and the HD bars did not fit the new car). Having used both types several times, I would recommend the aero style over the HD if you have the option.

A year ago we purchased this Rhino roof rack system/kit to carry our 15ft canoe and 12ft kayak on our Silverado crew cab. We tow a retro camper, carry bikes, and have a toolbox in the bed, so the truck roof was our easiest option. We also bought removable Yakima folding kayak holders (because the beam width of our two boats was too wide for the cross bars - need to carry them on their sides). I appreciate the build quality, the sturdy finishes, the strong materials and smart design of this rack. We followed the enclosed directions and the etrailer installation video and it was easier and faster than we thought. We've logged thousands of highway and north woods miles with this rack and it's still solid as a rock! Only one minor issue... the square Euro cross-bars create wind noise at highway speeds which is only noticeable when you're not carrying canoes (they make enough wind noise on their own!). We just remove the racks when we don't use them - only takes 5 mins. It's a great product and we expect it to last for many more years! Great service from etrailer as well!
Great product everything fit perfectly. With the heavy duty bars almost all the hardware for anything you put on the rack is too short
Ordered a Rhino Rack for my 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. Rack arrived in very good shape and all items were there. Installing at this time and see no problems ahead.
Fit and function perfect. I use this to carry 2 kayaks on top of my Chevy Silverado 2500HD while towing my camper. No issues.
The product itself is good
After installing it on my truck, I had some issues talk to a tech. He instructed me a way to do. It wasn’t happy with that. It should be plug-in play.
The weatherstripping was in the way from mowing it over top the weatherstripping
He instructed me move the weatherstripping Then mounted then put the weatherstripping back and I told him I tried that and there were huge gaps doing it that way, which would allow water to run down the roof of the truck into the door jam, then leak into the Cabin
He said to glue the weatherstripping down at that point
That is crap nowhere in your installation videos did it say that and if it had, I would’ve never bought this
So I took his advice and I used 100% silicone to fill the gaps which would have let water run into the cabin while it rained last night and I was still getting a little water in so now I’m gonna have to put weatherstripping on the actual door and see if that stops the water penetration into the cabin
Very disappointed
The second thing I’m disappointed in is when I called and talked to Lance extension number 72539 before purchasing to get my options of what to buy told him I needed the bars to be 65 inches and he told me they only came in 50
Which is not true because you sell bars that are 65
72 inches long and I could’ve swapped out the 54s when ordering and purchased the longer ones just don’t know why Lance didn’t make me aware that there were longer bars available once again very disappointed
Repeat customer of Etrailer. Always great service and support. Here, acquired parts to reconfigure Rhino Racks to fit another truck after a trade. Made the switch seamlessly and racks are now mounted on the new truck. Use them to transport a racing sailing skiff that is not heavy but is bulky. They have moved the boat to regattas around the country without issue. Excellent product.
Customer service was very helpful making sure that the correct racks were ordered. Shipping was very fast and tracking package provided up to date info regarding arrival of package. The racks were exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with the product. Will definetly consider etrailer for other products in the future.

I am normally a exclusive Amazon shopper, but etrailer gives equal or better service and has specialty items you just can't find anywhere else. The pricing is great also. This is my 4th order from them on this project and the response has been perfect and the shipping has been prompt. They even offered to take back an item that I did not need. I desperately wanted to mount my 19ft Kayak on my new RV and with some Rhino RT tracks, a Rhino Nautic kayak lifter, a few really heavy duty rivets, and some ingenuity, I was able to accomplish the task. I am replacing the current Nautic bars with the heavy duty bars. See the attached pictures.
These made it easy for me to mount a roof basket on top of my truck without drilling holes. This is a great product.
This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.
I'm very happy that Rhino Rack builds roof racks to accommodate a large variety of vehicles. Trying to fit a rack to my 22-year-old Chevy pickup with a naked roof was a challenge. Fortunately, the people at etrailer are extremely knowledgeable and were able to get a direct fit. The rack fits awesome and will help in an upcoming road trip. Thanks Alex and etrailer team.
