Recommended Roof Rack For A 2013 Chevrolet Silverado With Sun Roof

Question:

No existing bars… but, i do have a sunroof. Will this product still work?

Though we do have options available for your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, I would not recommend the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y02-480B due to it being meant for camper shells. If you tried to install it onto your truck cab you would have to drill into the roof and that could mess with the integrity of the cab since you already have the sunroof up there.

I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Roof Rack System. You will need the following parts:

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLKVA
Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs # DK227

This will give you a complete roof rack system though you'll need to make sure that your sunroof does not interfere once installed. All roof rack manufacturers say not to open the sunroof with crossbars installed to avoid damage, but also they'll make a lot of noise so most people never open it anyways.
