Great converter simple install. JD from BTBRV has a great vid, on that! Your customer service is TOPNOTCH!! Thank you all at etrailer!

by:

Arrived on time, easy to install and is working great, thanks Etrailer

by:

Product as described, reasonable price, easy to install. It took me about 20 minutes start to finish.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

Very easy to install! My 2007 Forrst River Georgetown 350ds loves it! It works as it should! I would recommend this for anyone doing an upgrade or replacement.

by:

Easy installation. All is good again in the trailer.

by:

Simple installation, and delivers 60 amps to the LiFePo batteries in my RV. Very satisfied so far.

by:

Easy to install, and works well charging my lithium battery setup

by:

Installed in about 10minutes and has been working perfectly.
Easy to find and order on the etrailer website my old 9260 was failing under load.

by:

This Progressive Dynamics 9360 converter worked exactly as it was supposed to the first time it powered up!

by:

The unit has performed as expected with new AGM batteries. I like the addition of the pendant to show if the unit is working & charging. However, for some of us the communications cable length from the pendant is a little too short. If there is a means to extend its length so as to place the pendant in a desirable location, it would be nice to have that option. Overall, in my limited time observering and applying loads to the batteries, the converter is doing well

by:

It only gets 3 stars because it required buying another circuit board to add to it so that it would charge a lithium battery. And it does not charge it to 14.5. It only guess to 13.8.

by:

Worked exactly as expected. Tight spot to install in our 5th wheel. The instructions provided were a bit vague, but Progressive Dynamics Customer Service were quite helpful.

by:

I should have went with this PD converter when my original WFCO (non-lithium) quit working, but I went with a RecPro. Although stated as Lithium, it really didn’t have a correct charging profile, and the battery BMS would shut down every few months. This PD has a true Lithium optimized charging profile, which I have monitored through my Renogy battery shunt.

by:

This was a replacement for the 9260 so that I could properly charge lifepo4 batteries. It was a quick simple swap as the footprint and mounting locations are exactly the same. For simplicity plug it in to a house outlet and use the included pin/key to change the mode. The mode is displayed by the color of the LED. If you wait to change the mode after installation it might be very cramped.

by:

Very well built and the multi battery charging is great.

Tested this 60 amp Converter/Charger with a lithium 140 Ah battery. The converter provides 58-59 amps continuously to the battery for rapid charging. This was a bench test. Very pleased.

Reliable and fast. Over the last camping season this Charger performed well with my dual LiFePO4 batteries.

by:

Easy to swap out and now that I have a Lifepo4 battery, the lion profile ensures a full charge on my battery.

by:

This unit has worked flawlessly. I needed to go this route because I was installing a large lithium battery bank. The original unit that came with my 5th wheel wasn't lithium capable.
Swapping it out was simple and straight forward. The remote battery type indicator was very handy since my converter/charger is inside the endtable bt the sofa and you can't see the indicator light without it.
I have 860Ahs of lithium batteries and it charges the batteries just fine.
The videos that E-trailer provides, and their phone support proved to be very helpful for me while choosing the right unit to fit my needs.
I would recommend both E-trailer & this Progressive Dynamics converter/Charger.

by:

I needed to update my converter so I could change to a Lithium battery. This is a direct replacement for my lead acid converter so it was as simple as disconnecting the wires and connecting the new converter. Great product and very good quality.

by:

Drop in replacement for the 9160 originally installed in my 5th wheel.
chose to go with the 9360 so I don't have to lift in 2 80 lb AGM batteries that failed after 7 years of use. I replaced the AGM batteries with lithium for the weight savings even though AGM are better suited for the Minnesota cold.

by:

I was very pleased with the process of making this purchase. I am no expert in the camping world, and needed some assistance prior to purchase. The assistance was excellent and provided all of the information I needed. etrailer had the part that was a good upgrade for me. The price was fair and the shipping process went smoothly and quickly. I am very pleased.

by:

I replaced my factory WFCO converter, which the circuit board failed within a few years, with this Progressive Dynamics converter. It fit in the factory space with a little room to spare and I was able to fish the remote pendant wiring up to the breaker panel which keeps it handy. I used 10-32 rivet nuts to secure the new converter into the opening. Hansen Rivet makes a rivet nut tool that works great in tight spaces, it worked perfectly and eliminated the need to make complicated mounting hold downs. Overall, the converter is functioning as it should, and time will tell how it holds up. We do a lot of 'off grid' camping and rely on our solar panels and generators to keep our modern 12V conveniences working. I ultimately decided on this converter after extensive research and reading other people's reviews. As always, the group at etrailer were great to work with and I appreciate their help and support.

by:

The OEM Converter I am replacing is 8 years old and has 1 set of Output 12V Terminals. The Progressive Unit Features are impressive with 2 sets of 12V Terminals, which will improve my connection with the Solar Contoller that was added to my trailer because the wire run was spliced in to the main output cables instead of being directly connected. The Heatsink to help cool the Progressive Converter is a better design, along with the larger housing and cooling fan design. And the features of Battery Type Charge Selection will allow me to upgrade my current Wet Cell Batteries to Lithium in the future.
Angie Z. was absolutely the best part of the whole experience. Kind and professional with experience and assistance. Constant and timely communication. I was so impressed by this experience that I will contact her first with my RV questions and purchases before searching or buying anywhere else. Thank you to ETrailer for keeping the Customer Service experience alive and well. It's a value added benefit that defines the often forgotten practice of Customer satisfaction and support.

  • Will 60 Amp Progressive Dynamics 9300 Converter Charger Replace PD9260
Hi Jeff, Nice choice with the 100 amp hour Go Power Lithium RV Battery # GP99QR as well as the Expansion Kit # 34282182. Also, you can absolutely replace your PD9260 with the PD9360 model that is compatible with lithium batteries, and our part number for that is the following: - Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger - 12V - 60A # PD79RR This is both a reasonable and quality upgrade to work with the lithium batteries. • Lithium Compatible Converter To Replace WFCO WF-9855
Hello Victor, thanks for reaching out. The Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD79RR will work great for replacing your WFCO WF-9855 converter. We recommend this model as a replacement quite frequently in fact, since it has the lithium charging profile. That said, this is technically not a direct replacement for your unit, so some modifications to the mounting may be needed depending on how much space you are working with. The Progressive Dynamics # PD79RR is 8" long...

Your older PD9145C charger delivers 45 amps of DC charging power at 13.6 volts DC. (For AGM batteries) This converter/charger requires 725 watts of AC power to operate. It also needs to be on its own AC circuit. The Progressive Dynamics # PD79RR converter/charger delivers 60 amps of DC charging power at 14.6 volts DC. (14.6 volts for charging Lithium batteries) This converter/charger requires 1000 watts of AC power to operate. It also needs to be on its own AC circuit Two chargers can...

  • Looking To Replace My Current WFCO Converter, What Do You Recommend?
Hey Jim, It is hard to say which is better since both options are great. The WFCO # WF38FR is fairly newer to us so our experience is not as full like it is with the Progressive Dynamics # PD79RR. The Progressive Dynamics Converter is something I have seen more popular and experienced more. In my opinion I would recommend the Progressive Dynamics for your setup. Although both would work well, I will have to recommend what I know works well. What kind of camper are you wanting to install...

  • What is Difference Between 45 amp and 60 amp Progressive Dynamics Converter Chargers
Hey Jeff, the difference is that the Progressive Dynamics Converter Charter part # PD79RR would charge your lithium batteries at 60 amps compared to 45 amps like the # PD69RR so would charge it quicker. So if the battery was totally dead it would take a little over two hours to charge the batter with the 45 amp charger and with the 60 amp it would take a little over 1.5 hours. 1.6 hours to be exact.

To change the battery mode on the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD79RR you'll need to insert the included CLAW tool into the small opening next to the battery type indicator light. • Is Progressive Dynamics 9300 Converter Lithium Battery Compatible
Hey Gerald, the Progressive Dynaimcs 9300 converter part # PD49RR is lithium battery compatible so it would work just fine with a 300 amp hour lithium battery. It would take basically 10 hours to completely charge your battery if it was totally dead so going with a 60 amp part # PD79RR would charge it in half the time. So what you would gain is a much faster charge.

Hello Jonathan, Thanks so much for reaching out. Since you already have a 160 watt roof panel and Odyssey TPPL batteries, adding another panel and updating your charging equipment is a great idea. For the solar side, I recommend the Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit with the 200 watt panel, # 34282182. This lets you keep your existing 160 watt panel and simply add the new one to the roof. • Replacement Converter for 2022 Cougar 22RBS
Hey Lars, I would go with a higher rated Progressive Dynamics converter like the # PD79RR which is rated for 60 amps because while your RV has 30 amp power that's on the AC power side of things and this converter takes that AC and converts it to DC which the amperage changes quite a bit for that. That is why you wouldn't want to match your 30 amp power with a 30 amp converter.
