Replacement Converter for a WFCO WF-8955PEC

It looks like this unit comes with a 120v wall plug. The original converter in My wcfo 8955pec is wired directly to the ground bar and circuit breaker. How you recommend installing this new unit? Do I just cut the plug off and go from there. I would assume that would void any warranty!

Thanks for the picture Floyd! No, you definitely don't want to cut the plug off. You'll wire up the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger item # PD79RR, according to the directions I have attached below, then you'll plug it into a standard outlet.
Additionally, since you're replacing the converter on a WFCO WF-8955PEC you can use the Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel item # PD4655V, which is specifically designed to replace yours. It works with flooded lead acid, AGM, Lithium, and gel batteries You also do not have to worry about finding an outlet to plug it into.
