Hi Jeffrey,
The equivalent of the Progressive Dynamics PD9360 that we carry is the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger part # PD79RR. It's the same unit, different part number. This is a 60 amp converter charger designed to convert incoming AC shore power into 12 volt DC power for your RV while also charging and maintaining your battery bank.
One of the things I like about this unit is its flexibility. It's become a popular replacement for older converters, especially among RV owners upgrading to lithium batteries, because it can be configured to charge flooded lead acid, AGM, and lithium batteries properly. It also provides continuous 12 volt power to your RV's lights, water pump, fans, and other DC loads while connected to shore power. One feature I really like is that there isn't a tiny battery type switch to worry about setting correctly. The converter automatically recognizes and charges lithium batteries, making the upgrade process much simpler.
If you're replacing an existing converter, I'd be happy to help confirm that the PD79RR is the best match for your setup. What type of batteries are you currently using in your RV?

Love my Progressive Industries 9300. E trailer is an official supplier of Progressive Industries 9300. After seeing many of them on Amazon and other internet sites, I talked with a Progressive Industries representative that indicated they officially sold through e trailer and a lot of the other ones I was seeing were knockoff's. The 9300 detects type of battery it's connected to and automatically sets it's self to charge that type of battery, be it lead acid (wet cell), AGM, or Lithium

I had purchased a different brand when I upgraded to Lithium. Bad choice, it burned up while opening the slides in Myrtle. Luckily E Trailer was able to send the Progressive Dynamics converter to an affiliate in Myrtle Beach and we were back in operation. Also, the pendant allows monitoring of what mode the converter is charging the batteries.

I used this charge converter to replace the progressive 9360 because I changed to a lithium iron phosphate battery and the old converter did not have the correct profile because it was designed for flooded batteries. This charger will charge just as well as the older style, but with the correct profile for lithium batteries, and I’ve had no issues since purchasing it a couple of years ago and I would purchase again. If you don’t have lithium batteries now, the best thing you could do would be to switch over to lithium and buy this converter. It’ll be a game changer for you.
