Looking For A Replacement Converter Charger For My Schumacher SARVC55
Updated 10/01/2025 | Published 09/30/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2012 Itasca Sunstar 35f. The converter charger that is in it is a Schumacher model number SARVC55. Would this part replace the original converter that is in my motorhome currently? Does Schumacher still make the same model? Thanks, Eric

Hey Eric,
I am not entirely sure if Schumacher is still in business or still makes the same model as I am not familiar with them. However after some research what I have found is that almost everybody replaces that Schumacher model with the Progressive Dynamics 9360 # PD79RR and have had no issues. I was not able to locate anything specific by Schumacher on this model but Progressive Dynamics has said this works as a replacement.
How often are you able to get out in that RV?

We camp regularly but sometimes it sits for a few weeks.
