How do I change the battery mode for the 9300?

To change the battery mode on the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD79RR you'll need to insert the included CLAW tool into the small opening next to the battery type indicator light. Press and hold that button (using the CLAW tool) for 3 seconds until you see the light change to the color that matches your battery type (see attached from manual).

Can this be done while it sits on the bench when only the 120v plug is connected?

@AlexC Yes, you'll want to power this up with 120V power to select the mode. Then once the correct mode is selected you'll disconnect the 120V power, make all of your connections, and then plug it back in. This is how they layout the process in the instructions.
