Features:
Specs:
Carry ladders, lumber, and other cargo safely and easily with Rola's Haul-Your-Might T3 truck bed ladder rack. The aerodynamic load bars fit various truck bed widths, and the T-slots in the bars allow you to attach channel-mounted accessories, which can be secured to the rack with the included locking endcaps.
The Haul-Your-Might T3 is easy to install. No cutting or drilling is required. Assemble the uprights, and place the assemblies where you want them on the bed rails of your truck. When attaching the C-clamps, make sure that the truck bed rails are clear of dirt and debris so that the clamps can be properly secured. This rack includes adapters that work with the Nissan Titan Utili-Track system and the Deck Rail system that comes on certain Toyota Tundra and Tacoma pickups. Just position the adapters as indicated in the instructions so that you can securely attach the clamps to your bed rails. To finish installation, mount the load bars onto the upright assemblies.
This ladder rack will not work with tonneau covers or other bed-rail-mounted accessories. The Haul-Your-Might T3 will, however, work with stake-pocket-mounted accessories if the bases of the uprights don't cover up your truck's stake pockets. The universal T-slots on the top of the load bars also let you attach Rola channel-mounted carriers and accessories. C-clamps and stainless steel hardware are included for installation.

Speaker 1: Today, in our 2018 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack. Part number: 59799.The Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Ladder Rack is a lightweight aluminum ladder rack, specifically designed to work with your Tacoma's deck rail system on the inside while maintaining use of the tie downs of your deck rail system. While it's designed to carry ladders, it certainly isn't limited to just that. This can carry anything from lumber to home improvement materials, or even kayaks and stand up paddle boards while you're heading to the lake.Even with the ladder installed, you still have plenty of space to store anything in your truck bed, and again, you do have full use of your tie downs to secure those loads. The ladder rack has a carrying capacity of 800 pounds. It does have lockable end caps. With the end cap removed, you can also see it has a T-track system. To use T-track accessories with this, such as load stops, which are sold separately, you would remove the strip, place in your load stops, cut the strip to length, and put it back in place.
When not used as a T-track accessory holder, this can provide cushioning for your ladders and such once they're being installed. Also, once this is locked into place, your T-track accessories are going to locked in place as well. This also has locking knobs on the inside here. It comes with two of these and we put one on each side. Once they're locked into place, they just free spin so these can't be simply removed from your existing rails. This is very easy to install. It simply bolts together and there is no drilling required either, which is another big bonus. The bars themselves do have an aerodynamic shape to them and that's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you drive as well, providing a little bit of a quieter drive.
You will notice that there's an open slot on the bottom here. There is a strip that you cut into place and put there in between each of the screws, but for demonstration purposes we went ahead and left that out. With the bars being aluminum, and the legs here being of the black powder coat finish, it's going to be rust resistant and corrosion free so it's going to maintain its appearance for quite some time. The load bar dimensions are going to be 65 and one-sixteenth inches long by three and one-sixteenths of an inch wide and the height of the uprights is going to be about 25 inches. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the ladder rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have our bars closest to our cab already installed and we started installing our rear portion, as you can see here. Our first step is we're going to go to the deck rail system here where we're going to push out the end cap so we can start installing our bolts to slide into the track system. We'll take our turn knob here, completely loosen it up, and be careful because it does have a washer under it as well. Then, we'll take off our spacer block here and this is only going to be used with Nissan models so we're not going to need it. We'll take this T bolt here and slide it in toward deck rail system and we'll repeat that with our lockable knob as well. With our bolts in place into our deck rail system, we can now install the final leg.
What you want to do is line them up and do the same with the other bolt. Once they're both starting to go through, take the included washer with one of our bolts and start to tighten it down, then do the same with our locking. This doesn't have a washer with it. Then, we can start tightening them down completely.Alright, with our leg tightened down, now we can move onto the cross bar on top. Here's our final cross bar. We'll take our included keys and remove our end caps first.
We'll do this on both sides. The reason why we take the end caps off is so we can remove the strip on the bottom here to start sliding some of our hardware in. Now, you are going to have to make some cuts here, and there are measurements in the instructions as to where you need to make these cuts to fit around the hardware. For demonstration purposes, we're just going to go ahead and remove the strip completely. You'll see there's two different sized T bolts here. We're going to take the smaller of the two, put one in on each side first. Then, we'll take one of the large bolts each, put those in as well, and then we'll install the plastic brackets on each side. These are going to sit on top of the legs. Finally, we'll put our last of the large bolts on each side. With that done, now we can install our end caps on both sides. Now, we can set them on the legs.Set them on top. Then, we're going to try to keep it even both sides as far as cross bar overhang. Then, we'll take a measurement to be sure that that's even.As you can see, we already have it partially installed here on one side. On the other, we'll make sure this is pushed in all the way. We'll put a flat washer, a lock washer, and our nut. Then, we'll get our 17 millimeter wrench and tighten that down.Next, we'll take one part of our bracket, install a lock washer and a nut on the bottom of that to hold it in place, we'll install an Allen screw, just finger tight at first and then we'll tighten it down; there's going to be an included Allen wrench for this. We'll be using a 13 millimeter wrench for our top portion. With everything installed, we're ready to load up our ladders and hit the road. There you have it for the Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack on our 2018 Toyota Tacoma.

Designed to work with your factory utility track system, the truck bed ladder rack clamps onto your side rails for easy, no-drill installation. Aerodynamic, aluminum load bars adjust to fit your truck. T-slots in bars work with most Rola accessories.Product arrived quickly and the installation went is instructed, took me about 1 1/2 hrs. Looks great on my Titan 711894
Product build is great fits the truck perfectly and looks good. Overall 100% happy with the product. Only downsides are no instruction manual. Have to get it online. I appear to also have gotten some bracing but didn’t see that in the online manual. Also I have the power rear window in my Tundra and if you drive with windows down and the product still on then you hear some extra wind noise. No biggie since I don’t plan on keeping it attached when not in use. 683815
In general this rack is a good product but, 1. There was a lot of shipping damage.the shipping carton was shredded and many parts have paint missing with corners dented. 2. The racks have pressed in threaded inserts for corner brackets. One was missing with no indication that it had been installed. 3. The biggest issue was that the slots that are used to bolt the rack to my 2018 Toyota Tacoma did not line up with the rail system requiring me to elongate the (8) slots by hand 1/4” each I would have returned the product but the shipping box was in such bad condition that I decided to repair the racks. After all these issues the racks are functional and complement the appearance of my 2018 Tacoma . 644983
Bought this rack for my 2017 Nissan Titan so I could haul some kayaks from TN out west on a trip to see 22 national parks. Had mountain bikes in the bed of the truck and needed to have something to carry the kayaks higher. The rack worked great. Very sturdy construction and the rack looks great on the truck. I've had the rack on the truck for a year now and absolutely love it. No regrets. 657466
The rack is nice and mounted fairly easy onto my Tacoma. Thus far it's holding up great and I'm really happy with it (had it one week). My only minor complaint was that it didn't come with assembly instructions. They weren't necessary as I was able to figure it out but they would have sped up the process a little. Otherwise, I'm happy with it so far. 551559
Sorry you didnt receive install instructions. We have a link to the installation instructions on the product description page, so they can be viewed or printed.
--Great product, prompt shipping with a verification phone call to boot! Installation video from th etrailer website was very helpful as it was vehicle specific (2015 Tacoma). Primarily used for hauling a kayak with gear in the bed below & mattress moving a child to college. Very sturdy. The 'big box' online store had same product at same price. Elected to go with etrailer because I would rather the 'big box' not be the only online retailer 10 years from now. etrailer has great service & product was not 2nd day but pretty close and beat their own shipping expectations by about 5 days. Now my brother wants one!.. I sent him to the website. 554119
The customer service you receive from etrailer is second to none. My product arrived in 2 days. I had mentioned that it was needed within 3 weeks and my rep Michelle S put a rush on it. Now 1 week later I am being rebated $60 because of a price drop. Great service from Michelle S. and Erin. etrailer is my go to site 407586
Instructions contain significant error: measurements for spacers under bars is incorrect and does not allow sufficient space for proper assembly of crossbars. First shipment was missing one of the vertical supports. Had to contact company: instead of sending the missing part, they sent another entire assembly and have me going through the hassle of shipping the second assembly back minus the one needed part. In fairness, the rack (once assembled) seems bomb-proof and is awesome in appearance. Also, customer service communication was very good. 451249
Holding up very well. Still solid!
I purchased this rack for carrying my two 10' SUP boards. This was easy to assemble. Patience is a key to getting everything put together and adjusted to fit right. One note to the manufacturer, if anti-seize is so important why do you not include some with the kit? This is not at all the fault of etrailer.com, but a good idea in general. The lack of that one item in the kit takes away a star. 259974
I bought the Rola Haul Your Might ladder rack and installed it on my 2016 Tacoma . The instructions on line were easy to follow and it went together with out a hitch . For me this was the right choice . I also like the fact that everything locks with a key for security . 413341
1st and most imortant, I got what I paid for fast. 2nd I installed everything without a problem. 3rd I'm using the rack on CAT deployment right now, but plan on taking of the ladder and throwing on some kyaks. 654148
Directions are not the best, they are a PDF file, the rack itself is very good, recommend buying the optional tie down brackets, the box arrived pretty beat up the hardware was all intact in a small box in the center of the main box, i assembled and installed by myself ,it was easier to assemble everything except the top bar on the ground then place on truck bed then attach top rail , made adjusting the rack easier because the measurements on the instructions must have been the titan 2016 not the 2017 the locking portion of the brackets for the bed need to be played with a bit Again a good rack especially for the price i would by again, i even told my salesman at the Nissan dealership about where to find 455121
Nice high quality ladder rack but assembly is not so simple. I understand now why in the installation video the bottom channel rubber is removed "for demonstration purposes". I cut it to the lengths specified in the instructions, but had to go back and adjust both end cuts and spacer cuts. The side support brackets do not rest flat against legs due to the threaded nut receiver not being flush. Ended up putting a 1/8 inch gasket between support brackets and legs which worked out well. Nice finished job but took awhile to complete. 560629
Really looks great installed on my Toyota. Takes a little effort to put on and take off but the quality of the unit makes it worth it. Highly recommended. 414995
This is a great product for a reasonable price. It was easy to assemble, and it fit the utili-track system on my Titan perfectly. My heavy 18 foot canoe strapped on easily and rode perfectly at highway speeds. When I was done, the Rola came off in minutes. 511205
The T3 seems just fine so far; I transported my 28' fiberglass ladder yesterday with no problems. Installing the racks in my track-system Tacoma was not very difficult; I'd say it took about one hour. I chose to purchase and use the anti-seize stick for the stainless steel fasteners. I abandoned the install directions early on but at completion there were no parts left over so I hopefully got it right. I wasn't able to twist down the locking knobs designed to secure the rack base to the truck's track; the knob's key-locking mechanism seemed to slip before I could tighten them as much as I would have liked to. I have been told that the locking mechanisms may catch and hold sufficiently to allow a good tightening of the knob if one continues to turn several revolutions past the point at which the slipping began and I will try that as soon as I remember where I put those darned keys. 515447
The ROLA truck rack was an excellent purchase! It integrates perfectly with the factory bed rail system. Everything came in the shipping box and it was easy to assemble. I highly recommend this rack over the much more expensive name brand options. 492358
Installed on a 2016 Tundra. If you want to know about this product read about 15 reviews and you'll learn all you need! I read the reviews to see if it was a good purchase or not but didn't pay much attention to the minor gripes. I wish I had since it would have made the install easier. Basically this is a great product for the money and etrailer was great to deal with. What you will find however is a few common installation issues: 1. Dry fit all parts on the vehicle and take measurements to custom cut the under trim. The instructions are not accurate to precut. You'll ruin the trim because you have to recut once you try to assemble. 2. If you use anti-seize wait until absolute last minute final assembly otherwise during dry fit and disassembly it will be everywhere! I ended up stopping putting it on. 3. Do NOT follow torque guide in the instructions! They state 38# for the upper rails. This WILL dimple and possibly break through the rail and ruin them. I knew when I was torqueing it that it felt way too tight. I couldn't even get to 35#. I think it must be a misprint. When I removed the parts to recut the trim I had to beat the lip back in place to get the trim off since the rail was crimped and party broken. 4. The upper corner braces will not sit flush on the upper rail and the vertical rail. Its one or the other. I thought maybe the angle was wrong so I loosened everything but the brace simply isn't long enough to reach the angle. I made sure it was tight to the upper rail. The vertical rail does not sit flush anyway because the female thread protrudes beyond the edge which wont allow a flush mount. I may disassemble and bore out the bolt hole so it can sit flush(over the female threaded insert) and maybe lower the hole so the support can reach the vertical rail. 5. The locking knobs are terrible as every review states but I did notice if I used the key and kept turning it beyond the "lock" position it seemed to get tighter. I'll have to test this on the truck when I have more time. Maybe that's how they work, by tightening not necessarily locking. Overall I would recommend this rack just know what to expect. It looks good, the quality was much better than I expected and its very rugged once installed. Would have been a five star if not for the few mentioned items. 529587
The rack is awesome great quality, very rugged just as nice as the more expensive racks out there. The only complaint is that it did not come with instructions but it was pretty easy to put together. Took me about an hour with a friend helping me. Fits both of my bigger kayaks with some room to spare. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great rack. Looks and fits good on my tundra. 554587
Im sorry your rack did not include installation/assembly instructions. We link those on the product description page. Heres a link to them for future reference:
--Tacoma 2017 access cab -etrailer not the first item I purchased here. Good prices and service . The ladder rack 59799 is well made and sturdy. Looks good and should last as long as the truck. I got it just for hauling kayak's .My only issue was on the bed mount brackets the slotted holes for the t-bolts did not lineup with the center of the truck bedrails . The bolts came through the bracket at what I thought was a unacceptable angle . I drilled two holes on each bracket for the center of my rails , now the brackets are square on the truck box . 476387
Looks sharp... had the rack installed in a little over an hour 404319
Greatest racks for the price! I shopped around for weeks and wanted to put a good rack set up on my brand new truck(Tacoma). Far and wide and this was the final choice with spending about half of what you could spend on a new truck rack. There’s was limited choices when it comes to the Toyota bed rails. I’m very satisfied and im pulling ladders on and off several times a day (Window Cleaning biz)!! 472475
etrailer delivered the rack in short order. I received notifications from etrailer during the ordering and shipping. Installation was straightforward. It is a sturdy rack. I have another rack with the same rating, but I prefer the Rola. My suggestion is to dry fit the rack. I'm wondering how the locking knobs will hold up over time. It seemed like I couldn't tighten them down as much as the clamp knob. Still the knobs just hold the bed mounts in place rather than support weight, so I'm not too concerned. The videos on line were helpful giving an overall idea of the install. If I could split them up, I'd give etrailer 5 stars and the rack 4 stars. 2013 Tacoma. 573908
Easy install....ready to go in about an hour. Thanks! 522992
I recently purchased the haul your might rack for my 2017 trd off road tacoma and am very satisfied. I looked long and hard to find a decent rack to haul my paddle boards, kayaks, and surfboards without costing a fortune and finally pulled the trigger on this beauty. The looks of this rack leave my truck looking super sporty and the aero shaped crossbars work well with other named brand attachments. Overall 10/10!love it. 422027
I love the rack. very sturdy and looks good. Truck still fits in the garage. Assembly was very straight forward and easy to follow instructions. Had an issue with the locking knobs, but the tech called back and resolved the issue very quickly and I am very happy with how it turned out. I attached some pictures of the installed rack. 563802
Great rack, but not completely flawless. First, why didn't they include assembly instructions in the box? That was irritating to have to go back into the house, fire up the computer and print the instructions. Next, the locking handles that secure the racks to my truck rails didn't work well. When I tried to tighten them down, they jumped the cog and would tighten further. Even worse, when I tried to loosen them again, they slipped in the other direction making it almost impossible to remove them. I'd rather have a full set of the normal handles. I cut the bottom trim piece to exact measurements, but couldn't make the braces align and fit. In frustration, I removed all the lower trim pieces and was able to make everything fit fine. The trim pieces serve no functional purpose. I didn't even notice a difference in wind noise so I left them off. Rola strongly suggests assembling the stainless steel fasteners with anti-seize compound but doesn't include any with the package. A tiny tube couldn't have cost more than a few cents for them. It was fortunate for me that I do lots of automotive work and had a tube lying around the shop. Otherwise, that would have been another irritating trip to the store. I still gave the rack 5 stars because it was a great price and is rock solid now that it's installed, but the assembly should have been a little smoother 398664
Easy to install I do wish that you included installation instructions instead of using the Internet good price I will be using it to haul lumber 569759
The ladder rack should have included instructions, Im sorry they were omitted. On the product page theres a link that will allow you to view and print a .pdf copy of the instructions.
--This rack system is exactly what I was looking for. It slides right into the existing rail system in the truck bed without having to drill though the truck. It is wide enough on top to fit my canoe and kayak side-by-side. The only concern I would have, is if the rails in my truck bed were not still attached very well, it may weaken the structure. I did not have this issue, as my rails are quite firm and I am very pleased with the product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a truck that has the existing rail system already in place, 399957
Still works great. I would buy it again if I had a second pickup.
I just installed these racks on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. While it was a bit painful, I'm quite pleased with the result. Other than the usual "wish I had a third hand" thing, the main issue with installation was the plastic strips that fills the slot on the bottom of the crossbars. You have to dice each one up into 5 peices to fill the gaps between the various things mounted to that slot. The instructions tell you how big these gaps are...and if these number were right there would be no problem. But they weren't right for me. I ultimately ended up with a center strip a full inch smaller than they specify. The end gaps on mine came out at 6.0625" rather than the 5.75" they specify. If you are easily frustrated, I suggest that you just leave the plastic strip off entirely. With it out of the way you are free to adjust as you wish. The other issue, as pointed out by many others, is the locking knob. It barely tightens before it starts spinning freely. I also doesn't work all that well during initial assembly. I solved this last problem by repurposing one of the eyebolt tiedowns I bought with the rack and using it in place of the locking knob (they both have 8mm threads). I used some of the otherwise useless "Nissan spacer plates" as oversized washers (see photo). This then gave me the idea of adding 8mm eyebolts to the unused threaded hole in the upright, and 8mm eyenuts to cover the ends of the exposed bolts on the bottom of the crossbars (see photos). They might come in handy as places to hook bungie cords. 555735
Super fast delivery for Hawaii. Assemble very straight forward. Cross bar support don't fit quite right and locking knobs slip making tightening difficult( reason for 4 stars rather than 5). Looks great on truck and seems very solid. Hauled first lumber today, will also use for kayaks and SUP. 467746
Great truck rack! Very sturdy and I love the look of it. I use it for my kayak. 514165
Purchased the Rola 59799 ladder rack for my 2018 Toyota Tacoma and the fit was less than perfect. My job of 20 years is to fix things that other people mess up . This product was shipped and received very quickly within two days but was delivered with missing parts and after contacting three different people with etrailer the missing parts I hope are on their way although the tracking has stalled . This ladder rack doesn't fit a 2018 Tacoma unless you lengthen the slots that hold the locking knobs and bolts to the Toyota bed track . Also the locking knobs are completely worthless , the cylinders fall out of the hole and they won't tighten at all . The install took about 5 hour because of the modifications that had to be made . Tried calling etrailer back to try and get regular screw on knobs but they had already closed . So I'm short on alot of parts needed for hauling my kayaks and had to buy the additional parts at my local hardware store . All the other reviews are so true about missing parts and the fit being wrong . That being said the rack looks good on my truck after my modifications to correct the engineering error. 572072
All in all, it seems to be a pretty good product. Considering I have a Tacoma with bed-rail system, it was really the only option I had. The rack is sturdy when installed properly and looks like it belongs on the truck. I have two issues with the rack. 1. For my particular truck, a 2012 Tacoma, Part 5 of the instructions calls for a spacing of 30-3/8" (Measurement "A") between the tops of the corner braces. Installed as such, the brace flanges were nowhere near flush with neither the vertical supports nor the crossbar. By "dry-fitting" the racks without the undercovers, I determined that 29-3/8" provided a better fit. 2. The threaded inserts in the vertical supports, into which the corner brace bolts are attached, protrude from the surface of the vertical supports thereby not allowing for a flush fit of the corner brace flanges (see photo). 388255
Ordered these around 4pm PST, they shipped with in an hour!!! Got the bars inside of three days. Put them together myself, I am not a patient man lol, took me a couple hours to build alone, would have been half that with the wife. Bars fit great, work awesome with my 2015 Nissan Titan rail system. They are very sturdy and don't even move with the wife and I in out RTT, and yes it's the big boy Smittybilt 2883, for those of you wondering if they will work. Thanks for a great product and excellent service. 489330
Excellent product. I have a Tonneau cover on the truck so I will need to drill holes in mounting brackets of this rack to get the space needed on my rails. This product was easy to assemble but doesn’t come with instructions so it was awesome that etrailer had them on their website. 711034
Very nice product, I didn't get any instructions so I had to watch online. But these racks are great looking and very strong. Fits perfect in the deck rail of my 2019 TRD Pro! 708148
Had it for a year and it's still working fine. I use it for work with a 25ft fiberglass extension ladder and a little giant ladder. The only issue I had was I stripped one of the locking tightening knobs during installation so it just spins now. Good product. 691545
Great, thank you for your help. Racks are great! 683829
I put these on my 2018 tacoma. I primarily use it for my kayaks and it has worked great. I also get a lot of compliments about how good it looks. 683465
Racks are well built and worked exactly as hoped and expected, delivered on time! My experience with this product and company was ALL good 681003
I couldn't be happier with the racks I purchased. I use them for carrying kayaks to and from the water. They're very strong and rock steady. I haven't had to retighten the fasteners so far in the first year of use. They do take a little time to put together because you actually assemble piece by piece as they begin to attach to your truck but that's one of the aspects that makes them fit so tightly and gives them strength. I love them. 673634
Love the look and functionality of my rack. Only complaint is with the key/lock mechanisms. They have not held up well with the Vermont weather. Otherwise, I have recommended this rack to my son and others with trucks. 672924
Excellent, just what we needed Fast delivery Good quality 672033
Perfect rack for what I needed. Is easy to slide up and down the rail system. Holds my paddle boards and kayak as well with ease. And color is great with no fading after one year. 660934
Great rack, super modular. Have only tipped the iceberg as far as what I can do with this thing. Very pleased, and definitely would recommend. 659118
This is a great product!! Easy to install using the Nissan Utili-track system. Also easy to remove and store in the garage. Can be installed/removed by only one person. I wrapped the horizontal bars with foam padding for my kayaks and paddle board to prevent scratching. The only issue I had was the locking knobs can’t be tightened too much or they will sometimes free spin when unlocked and won’t loosen. 656831
Great rack, decent price, excellent s ervice 657182
2018 Tacoma. This thing is awesome!!! Super tough super sturdy. Took about 45 minutes to install by myself. I bought it to haul kayaks and it does it with ease. Because of the aerodynamic design of the cross bars I did not loose any MPG’s and they have no noise what so ever. The only complaint I have is the locking nuts that hold the uprights to the tracks in the bed are not the best quality. Other than that these racks are perfect. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Shipping was fast and you can’t beat the price. Defiantly can’t beat them!!! 655770
For my '16 Tacoma rail system. FYI, I don't use this rack system for everyday, heavy work loads. I have frequently hauled both a heavy tandem kayak and a 16' aluminum ladder (not at the same time) and the rack system held up well. Only reason I'm giving this rack system 4 stars is because the clamp knobs do loosen a bit after some drive time (I just re-check them all at fuel stops). Also, 4 stars because when tightening the clamp knobs onto the T-bolts that fit in the rail system the T-bolts sit at a bit of an angle...though still secure. I like the look of them while on the truck and definitely like the fact that you can take them off when there is no need for them. All in all I would recommend this system to others, especially looking at the price of other much more expensive rack systems. 644781
