Question:

I've got a Thule TracRac on my 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 and would like to add a tonneau cover. I like the Retrax pro mx but I'm not sure it will work?

Because the Retrax PRO MX Tonneau Cover # RT80467 for the 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 covers the bed rails, you would not be able to use a ladder rack like the Thule TracRac # TH27000XT since that rack requires the use of the bed rails.

The only tonneau cover we have a confirmed fit on your truck that will still allow you to use with the Thule TracRac is going to be the BAK Revolver X2 # BAK39122 . This is a rollup hard tonneau cover that mounts inside the rails and will provide enough space to allow for your sliding Thule TracRac to operate without interference from the tonneau.

@Carpenter Some Retrax models do, but not the two fits available for the 2011 F350. For a ladder rack that's compatible with a Retrax cover, your best bet would be the Yakima OverHaul, part # Y01151-5955 which is compatible with the accessory slots provided by the RetraxPRO XR, part # RTT-80323.

I have a trac rac tracone ladder rack on a Tacoma 2017. Is the revolver the only compatible option at the moment?

@Joaquin I am sorry but there is not a way to convert your ladder rack to the SR rail system, so there is not a cover that will work at this time.

@KateF I just can't picture how it would be put together without some form of modification on the revolver like a cutout for the ladder rack to sit on.

@Joaquin After doing some digging, you are right. I am not sure why Erik said that it would work. the only way to make it work would be to convert the ladder rack to the SR rails, and they do not have the SR for the Tacoma. I am sorry but there is not a tonneau cover that is compatible.
