Best Tonneau Cover for a Thule Sliding Ladder Rack on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500

I am interested in two of your ladder racks and a tonneau cover to be named later. The Thule T-Rac Pro2 and the Thule TracRac SR. I am hoping that both of them are compatible with a tonneau cover. Obviously I would like to save 500 bucks. Can you point me to covers that they would work with?

Hey Tom welcome! Both the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # TH94RE for a 6-3/4' bed or item # TH43002XT-780 for the 8' and the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever # item # TH44RE for 6-3/4' or item # TH43002XT-780EX for 8' are compatible with tonneau covers when installed on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500.
As far as a tonneau cover goes you're going to have to go with a roll-up style like the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover item # BAK22VR - 6-3/4" bed or item # BAK54ZR - 8' bed. The uprights on the Thule Ladder rack's angle inwards preventing folding covers from being able to close down when opened. Retractable covers are also going to be a no because the ones compatible with tonneau covers have slots in them that limit capacity to 300 lbs.
The only other option is to go with ones like the Leer Soft Tonneau Cover item # LE38VR for 6-3/4' and TruXedo Deuce 2 item # TX772801 for 8' beds, which does address your cost issue. The problem with these though are the edges sit above the bed rails so they will rub against the tracks for the ladder rack.
