Can you Flat Tow a 2025 Ford Maverick without issues?

I bought a 2025 Ford Maverick to use for a toad now Im seeing all kinds of problems with base plates and brake systems where can I get the latest and most accurate information I dont want this to be an experiment. Thank you for any advise

Hi Mark, I totally get how frustrating that must be especially after choosing the Maverick for flat towing. I did find some updated info I can share with you, but the best way to stay on top of things for your specific vehicle is to use Ford’s Technical Service Information webpage. You can even enter your VIN to get details that apply directly to your Maverick.
I do know that only the hybrid models of the 2025 Maverick can be flat towed, both the all wheel drive and front wheel drive. Due to the refreshed front-end design on the 2025 Maverick, some baseplate manufacturers are still finalizing their designs but we do carry the Blue Ox base plate part # BLU94ER and the Roadmaster base plate part # RM87NQ for the Hybrid 2025 Mavericks.
