  • Pin and Clip Recommendation for a Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18153
As long as you have a 2 inch hitch installed on your 2013 Toyota Sienna the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18153 would fit and work well for you. It does not come with a pin and clip but you have a couple options. For a standard pin and clip you would want part # PC3, for a locking one part # e98880, and finally for a locking anti-rattle one you would want the part # 63232.

  • Recommended Trailer Ball Mount for 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
The correct ball mount for your vehicle will depend on the height of the hitch on your Outlander. When we installed a hitch like # C13398 on your vehicle, we found that the inside top of the receiver tube was about 11 inches above the ground. Since the average trailer coupler height is between 16-18 inches, you'll want a ball mount that provides about 6 inches of rise. Since the # C45036 you'd looked at provides a 2 inch drop, it wouldn't be a good choice. To figure out the exact rise...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon
For your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon the Draw Tite hitch part # 75673 is a confirmed fit and would be a great choice. This is a 2-inch hitch which is the most popular hitch size for accessories and has the best capacities. For trailer wiring the part # 118467 would also be the correct kit to get. The Convert-A-Ball ball mount # AMSC2 would work too if you needed a 2-inch drop. You will also need a product like part # PC3, part # e98880, or part # 63232 to secure the accessory in your 2"...

  • How To Tow A Trailer Without Measuring for Rise/Drop
The only true way to determine what ball mount you need is to measure from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube on the vehicle and then subtract the difference from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on the trailer while level. However, if you do not have access to the trailer then the best option for you is an adjustable ball mount as this will not only more than likely allow you to tow your boat trailer level without measuring beforehand but will also accommodate...

  • Trailer Hitch And Reducer For 2020 Volvo XC 40
The Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver # SH77FR is the currently (January 2020) the only fit guided hitch for the 2020 Volvo XC 40 and has a 2" receiver only. You do have the option to use a hitch reducer like the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02 however to get to the 1-1/4" receiver size you are looking for. The Brophy reducer is unlike similar adapters in that the sleeve design does not reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch which is key depending...

  • Parts Needed to Install a 7-way Trailer Connector and Tow a Trailer with a 2009 Toyota Tacoma
Yes, you can install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2009 Toyota Tacoma. There's a couple of options depending on your trailer. First you're going to need to start with a 4-way flat connector like you've already found. I suggest the Curt # C55513 which plugs into your truck's wiring either behind the taillights or the rear bumper. Once you have the 4-way, if your trailer does not have brakes you can use an adapter, # 37185, to go from the 4-way to provide a 7-way. However, installing...

  • Can a Front-Mount Hitch and Adapter be Used to Push a Trailer Into Tight Spots?
You certainly aren't alone having a bit of trouble backing up a long trailer. Using a front-mounted hitch is fine, but the Blue Ox adapter, # BX88132, is designed for flat-towing so it isn't going to work for you. What you can do instead is attach a fixed ball mount, and the Draw-Tite # 80248 is going to give you 9-3/4" of rise. Please keep in mind that the Draw-Tite has has a max gross towing weight (GTW) of 3,500 lbs and max tongue weight (TW) of 350 lbs in the rise position. If you...

  • Why Does my 2 Inch Hitch have a 1/2 in Pin Hole and a 5/8 in Pin hole
The Curt Pin and Clip # F-4 that you referenced is designed to work on 1-1/4 inch hitches. The reason your hitch has a 1/2 inch hole and a 5/8 inch hole is because it is setup for an obsolete anti-rattle device Draw Tite J-Pin. We no longer carry the J-Pin so that hole is no longer used. This 1/2 inch hole is not designed to be use as a hitch pin hole, you will want to use 5/8 inch pin and clip like the # PC3.

  • Hitch Adapter to Tow Trailer and use Bike Rack
There is an option for you, though the part you asked about is not for use with trailers. Instead, I recommend the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers # D210. This will give you a ball mount for use when towing your trailer, and a receiver above it which you can use for your bike rack. You can secure it to your Sienna's hitch with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880 or Pin and Clip # PC3. For a hitch ball, depending on the size...

  • Recommendation For a Trailer Hitch That Will Fit 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350
The item you selected, Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, part # 13342, is the hitch I would recommend for your 2006 Mercedes Benz ML350. This is a Class III Hitch, with a 2 inch receiver that is compatible with most accessories such as cargo carriers or bike racks. This is the highest rated hitch available for your 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350 for towing. In addition to part # 13342, you may need the following to complete your towing setup: Ball Mount part # C45010, Pin and Clip part #...

  • Class III Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Subaru Outback 3.6R
For a Class III hitch, I'll typically recommend the Curt product because they do a slightly nicer job on their powder coat finish than Draw-Tite does. Curt offers both a traditionally styled Class III hitch, part # C13206 which would have the entire hitch visible from the rear and a mostly-concealed hitch, part # C13410 which would have the crossbar of the hitch concealed behind the bumper with the only visible portion of the hitch being the receiver tube and the safety chain hoops. • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Non-Trailhawk 2018 Jeep Cherokee
The Draw-Tite # DT28MR will only fit Trailhawk models, as they have a different rear bumper. If you attempted to install it on a non-Trailhawk model the bumper would get in the way and prevent you from installing it. For a non-Trailhawk 2018 Jeep Cherokee, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13172. When installed, the hitch will be mostly concealed behind the bumper with the only visible portions of the hitch being the square receiver tube and the safety chain hoops. The installation...

  • Longest Ball Mount For 2 Receiver Available For Towing Boat Trailer With Trick Steps
I would be happy to help! The longest ball mount we offer is theBrophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 13-1/4" Long - 10,000 lbs # BM20 which measures 13-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. Now the # BM20 has a 10,000lb trailer weight rating, and 1,000lb tongue weight rating. To tow your boat, there's a couple ways you can go to upgrade to make that possible. You could use the part # 391CONVPT5L hitch, add the # 391BMU5L ball mount and a # 63845 2-inch trailer ball and the # CU94FR 4-pole trailer wiring harness, which would provide you everything you...

This ball mount will give you the adjustability to tow your travel trailer level and will give you two hitch ball size options that are integrated. • Ramp Assist for Heavy Ramps on Trailer
For your 35 ft flatbed trailer I recommend the Redline Ramp Spring # RS16933LH for the left hand side, and # RS16933RH for the right hand side. These are designed to help lift the ramps on heavier trailers like yours. So long as the hinge pin is 1 1/2" diameter these will work great. They have a 2K lbs tension rating, so as you lift it takes some of the weight off. If your ramps are extremely heavy, you can use more than one on each ramp. • Should a Locking Hitch Pin be Purchased to Help Keep a Hitch Cover from Being Stolen
A trailer hitch cover like the Rubber Hitch Cover # 22281 is not one that can be locked, but since it is a common piece it really isn't in too much danger of being stolen. However, if you you are looking at a hitch cover that is a little more unique, like the part # HTCC11805, then I do recommend going with a locking hitch pin like part # e98880 as opposed to a typical pin and clip like part # PC3. This will help to deter theft of your cover. Please note that the lock and clip/pin numbers...

  • Hitch for Towing 7500 lb Travel Trailer With 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500
I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C59UR which because of its 10000 lb towing and 1000 lb tongue weight capacity, it'll have plenty of capacity for the travel trailer you mentioned. To add a 7-way/4-pole trailer connector, I'd recommend the Hopkins # HM40975. For a ball mount, I'd go with # D-4, Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3, part # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball or # 63853 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
