Dual Folding Arms with Anti-Sway Cradles

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Dual Folding Arms

The Swagman Titan has dual folding arms that provide excellent support for your bikes. They slope up to provide ground clearance for steep driveways and bumpy roads.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Hitch Switch Lever

To fold the arms down, pull up on the cam lever at the top of the mast. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And when stored in this configuration, it doesn't take up as much space in your garage.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Anti-Sway Cradles

Anti-sway cradles with rubber straps hold your bikes firmly in place. Each set of cradles has three straps that secure your bike along the top tube and one that secures the seat post or downtube. This multi-point contact helps keep your bikes from rocking back and forth, reducing bike-to-bike contact. The soft rubber cradles rotate around the rack's arms to accommodate bikes of different styles and shapes.

Easy Tilting for Cargo Area Access

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Tilting

The rack tilts down without your bikes loaded. This means you won't have to remove the whole rack to access your cargo area for grocery runs and other errands.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Lower HitchSwitch Lever

To tilt the rack, pull up on the cam lever at the base of the rack and lower the mast. When you're ready to go, lift the mast up until it snaps into place with an audible click.

Threaded Hitch Pin and Hitch Adapter

Swagman Titan threaded hitch pin

A threaded hitch pin is included to help eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport. To tighten the pin in your hitch, use a 5/8" wrench (not included). A clip is also included to keep the pin in place.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Hitch Adapter

You can install the rack in a 1-1/4" hitch or in a 2" hitch. To use it in a 1-1/4" hitch, simply remove the adapter with the included Allen key.

Bike Security

Swagman Titan 2-Bike cable lockSwagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Anti-Sway Cradles

A cable lock is included to secure your bikes to the rack. The integrated cable threads around your bikes' frames and inserts into the lock at the end of the right arm. The cable stores inside the mast when not in use.

Swagman Original threaded hitch pin

An anti-rattle hitch lock (sold separately) is available to secure the rack to your vehicle.

Available Adapter Bar

Swagman Bike Adapter Bar

If you have a women's bike, kid's bike, or any other bike without a straight, horizontal top tube, you will need an adapter bar (sold separately) to properly mount your bike. The bar fits between the seat post and handlebar stem post of your bike to create a top tube so your bike hangs level on the rack.

One of the few racks that will clear my Jeep's large rear mounted spare tire without using an extender. The other is the Allen which doesn't have the nice features the Swagman Titan has. Tips enough to allow partial opening of Jeep rear door, but enough to open the soft top rear window. The vertical portion of rack tips slightly toward vehicle (at least it does on mine). Would be better if the horizontal "S" shaped piece could be turned around to dip down, moving it further from the spare tire, but there are only holes drilled to mount it as shown. Can't attest to the durability yet, but it doesn't wobble even a tiny bit. Have to compliment everyone I spoke with at etrailer. very nice and extremely helpful.

eTrailer.com had my new Swagman Titan bike rack delivered super fast. I received the right amout of email communication informing me of the status of my order, plus I could track my delivery directly from the eTrailer website. Awesome!

As for the hitch, I am so happy with it. I was tired of taking the front wheel off my bike and cramming it into the back of my small Corolla, it never really fit right, was always a struggle, and then I had no room for anything else in my car. Now, I just hang my bike onto the rack and strap it in, takes less than 60 seconds and I have all the extra room in my car and don't have to fold down the back seats.

The other feature I really like is that this bike rack has an integrated locking cable, once your bike is on the rack, you attach the locking cable so now your bike is locked onto the rack. Someone can't take your bike off the rack and walk away with it when you aren't looking.

I also got the Swagman bike rack locking pin, that attaches the bike rack to the car hitch.

I've used the bike rack twice so far and it makes my life so much easier. Solidly built bike rack that is well worth it.

Thank you eTrailer, you rock!

I worked with Melissa at the company to find the best Bike rack for my Audi and she was just great. She helped me find the perfect item and it has worked out just as she explained. I am very happpy with the sales help, the price, quality and with the outcome, just what I needed. Thanks much.

by:

Operates well as demonstrated in the excellent pictures and videos on website. Only caveat- if you have a ladies bike you need an adapter bar which is a separate purchase, and be careful to get the right size. Also if your bike has a seat with a rod that cushions from bumps, you may not be able to use an adapter and therefore cannot use a hanging rack!!! Lucky my bike shop had an adapter that could go lower on the frame. So I can use the rack but the bike is at an angle. And this morning not can be done for the outer hung bike not the inner one.

by:

relatively easy to attach especially to a Mustangit is a little heavy but its it's in a position that allows the trunk to be open without any modificationsI always thought of bike it was ridiculous on a Mustangbut I have to say it looks pretty goodit's relatively easy to get the bike on 2 is a little crowdedbut most the time I just carry one bikeit was also very helpful to have the experts tell me if this would fit beforehand

My bike rack arrived right on time Wednesday afternoon, I put it on the car Thursday morning, loaded both our bikes and headed down to Rehoboth DE for a wedding, then took the ferry from Lewes DE to Cape May NJ, and stayed 3 more days in Avalon NJ and back home to Pennsylvania. Felt safe and secure the whole trip. Easy to put bikes on and off, love the security lock.

by:

Perfect fit for my class 1 trailer hitch on my Subaru Crosstrek. I love the features including the rack that swings down when not in use, and that it swings back to let me open the back hatch door. I have been using it for a year and look forward to getting many more uses out of it. I have pictures and will add them if i can find them :)

The hex bolt that held the spacers was poorly machined and so tight I striped the head. I had to take it to a machine shop to remove it.

Very sturdy, quick assembly

by:

While Cathy did a fantastic job supporting my purchase, it is shame they did not have my first choice available for purchase. As matter of fact, my first choice was shown as available, but the shipping department shipped me the incorrect unit. The unit they shipped was not for a class I hitch. It was quite easy to return, excluding the fact that I had to drive 35 miles round trip to go to a USPS shipping station. My vacation schedule precluded my waiting for the manufacturer to build and forward a unit for shipping to me.
My second choice was also shown in stock, but they could not find it in the shipping department. Cathy stayed on top of this purchase and contacted me and we eventually found a third car bike rack that I could live with.

The two (2) bike rack that I did get (S63400) is very well built and worth the $$, but it is heavier (a bit over 30 #) than my originally preferred unit. The bolt assembly needed to install the unit in the class one hitch will preclude my wife from installing the bike rack on her car with out my help.

Cathy gets a 10 and the shipping department get a 1 in my book.

by:

Installed on SUV and seems ok except for one item. Tightening the hitch cord prevent side to side sway but there is nothing to stop the up and down motion. I guess the weight of the bike will prevent this but without a bike installed any bump will cause this to jump. When I'm not carrying bike I will install a shim to keep the rack from jumping up. Otherwise a sturdy and well build bike rack.

by:

The tilt features are easy to use. The rack is stable in the hitch. The bike is stable on the rack and in the straps. Used a small rubber bungee to secure the front wheel.
eTrailer staff seem very concerned for a good buying experience.

by:

I love my new Swagman Titan 2 bike rack! It's everything I expected from the web page details, was easy to install, and eTrailer.com had it out for shipment just hours after I placed my order. Great to be out and about with my bike to enjoy the fall weather!

by:

very nice product. originaly had ordered a tule, but out of stock/ the
swagman 2 bike seems to be made just as well. and we are anixous to use it on our 10 hr. trip. I am sure that will tell the whole story.
custmer service was great and they seemed to know what the were talking about. rack was easy to assemble.

by:

Easy setup, only 3 bolts. Looks and feels very sturdy. I like the bike lock that is integrated into the bike rack. Can’t wait to load our bikes and hit the trails.

by:

Thanks to e-trailer's recommendation, I actually upgraded my choice to the Titan. Easy to use, bulit very well, and with the ability to use a 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitch, I am now using it on both my car and truck. I really like the ease and design on how you can tilt both the whole carrier or just the top arms.

by:

Well, I just received my swagman s63400. When I put it on the car, well thats were the problem is. At the bottom were the tilt out lock is, I have a lot of play. When I put the 2 bikes on they wiggle a lot. I am talking to the dealer to see if he can help me with that problem. Other than that it seems to be well built except for the wiggle problem. Hope we can solve that. I did tighten the single bolt, as instructed but no luck their. Frank K.

by:

Great product. Light weight. The only problem that I had was one the bolt hole was threaded at an angle, not Etrailer fault, fault of Swagman Mfg. but used thread chaser and solved problem.

by:

It’s a well made bike rack. The only problem we have noticed is that it wobbles unless you use a wrench to tighten the bolt that fastens the rack to the hitch.

by:

The Titan model bike rack by Swagman is a bit heavy, but that's easily accepted because of its beefy construction. It requires very little time and effort to assemble. It slides into a two inch trailer hitch and after tightening the locking bolt, I found it very rigid, which would result in no rattling, when underway at 60 miles per hour transporting two adult bicycles. The fold down feature for trunk access is a snap to operate and likewise the fold down feature of the rack bar. The video produced on etrailer.com's web site was most helpful in making my decision over many competitive products and the rack performs exactly as shown.

by:

Bike rack and hitch on my car.

by:

Great bike rack.. No more worrying about the bikes in tow. Simple to install and love the built in locking cable to protect the bikes when left alone. First test drive with bikes in tow showed no sway or bouncing around. Don't even know they are back their. Highly recommend this rack.

by:

Very solid and functional bike rack. Pleased with the purchase and with the company.

by:

My hitch and bike rack arrived quickly and were easy to install. I haven't actually put a bike on it yet, but it seems like it will work well for my cross-country trip.

  • Is Trimming Required to Install a Trailer Hitch on a 2013 Honda Accord Sedan
We do have several trailer hitches for the 2013 Honda Accord. I have provided a link to them for you. In the list that comes up you will see something called Installation Notes for each hitch. On all of the options we note that a heat shield must be modified or trimmed for hitch installation and that an underbody trim panel must be modified or trimmed if present. I have included a link to the instructions for Curt trailer hitch # C11496. You can see where the trimming is needed and that...

This bike rack has a rise shank which means that the bottom of the rack will be a little higher than the bottom of the hitch so it will offer about 3 inches of additional rise for ground clearance. I have linked a video review of this rack for you. This bike rack does not come with a hitch lock. If you would...

It is not recommended to carry more than 2 bikes at a time on a Class I hitch because of the additional leverage that is applied on the hitch by 3 or more bikes mounted further away from the hitch.
