Dual Folding Arms with Anti-Sway Cradles

Swagman Titan 4-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Dual Folding Arms

The Swagman Titan has dual folding arms that provide excellent support for your bikes. They slope up to provide ground clearance for steep driveways and bumpy roads.

Swagman Titan 4-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Hitch Switch Lever

To fold the arms down, pull up on the cam lever at the top of the mast. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And when stored in this configuration, it doesn't take up as much space in your garage.

Swagman Titan 4-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Anti-Sway Cradles

Anti-sway cradles with rubber straps hold your bikes firmly in place. Each set of cradles has three straps that secure your bike along the top tube and one that secures the seat post or downtube. This multi-point contact helps keep your bikes from rocking back and forth, reducing bike-to-bike contact. The soft rubber cradles rotate around the rack's arms to accommodate bikes of different styles and shapes.

Easy Tilting for Cargo Area Access

Swagman Titan 4-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Tilting

The rack tilts down without your bikes loaded. This means you won't have to remove the whole rack to access your cargo area for grocery runs and other errands.

Swagman Titan 4-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Lower HitchSwitch Lever

To tilt the rack, pull up on the cam lever at the base of the rack and lower the mast. When you're ready to go, lift the mast up until it snaps into place with an audible click.

Threaded Hitch Pin and Hitch Adapter

Swagman Titan threaded hitch pin

A threaded hitch pin is included to help eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport. To tighten the pin in your hitch, use a 5/8" wrench (not included). A clip is also included to keep the pin in place.

Swagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Hitch Adapter

You can install the rack in a 1-1/4" hitch or in a 2" hitch. To use it in a 1-1/4" hitch, simply remove the adapter with the included Allen key.

Bike Security

Swagman Titan 2-Bike cable lockSwagman Titan 2-Bike Hanging-Style Rack Anti-Sway Cradles

A cable lock is included to secure your bikes to the rack. The integrated cable threads around your bikes' frames and inserts into the lock at the end of the right arm. The cable stores inside the mast when not in use.

Swagman Original threaded hitch pin

An anti-rattle hitch lock (sold separately) is available to secure the rack to your vehicle.

Available Adapter Bar

Swagman Bike Adapter Bar

If you have a women's bike, kid's bike, or any other bike without a straight, horizontal top tube, you will need an adapter bar (sold separately) to properly mount your bike. The bar fits between the seat post and handlebar stem post of your bike to create a top tube so your bike hangs level on the rack.

by:

This is a Christmas gift, so I can't tell how its going work. The shipping was great and fast, it arrived undamaged.

by:

Sturdy, built well.

by:

Product was received one day ahead of schedule! Excellent customer service!

by:

Overall nice product, but I wish the locking cable was longer to weave through both wheels and frame. Since wheels have quick attach skewers theives can easily take your wheels.

by:

Excellent product!

by:

Great rack and good price!

by:

by:

Product is good, easy to put together ad was exactly what I was looking for.

by:

I like the mounting method and two bikes fit well (no need to carry 3 yet). It works as intended.

by:

Its a great product. Very sturdy and well made. Has the nice tilt back feature. The only negative is that it sticks out far enough that I don't even have to use the tilt feature when i open up my hatchback on my 2014 prius. I may see if I can cut it down about 6in.

by:

It is very good. Too much life has happened. Have not used it yet.....

by:

Made well and easy to use. Just disappointing about the amount of bike swaying during transpor.

by:

All products were received of high quality and delivered timely.

by:

Was looking for a lighter bike rack to use on the front of my truck. Just what I was looking for.

by:

Very sturdy, quick assembly

by:

Great product. Light weight. The only problem that I had was one the bolt hole was threaded at an angle, not Etrailer fault, fault of Swagman Mfg. but used thread chaser and solved problem.

  • Choosing Bike Rack to be Used While Towing a Camper
The Dual Hitch Receivers such as part # RM-077-2 cannot be used for towing a trailer. These receivers are meant for use with a towbar carrying a rolling load and an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. We offer a Curt Ball Mount with 2 inch Receiver, part # D210, which should work for your needs. This ball mount has a tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs, so the trailers tongue weight and the weight of the bike carrier plus the weight of the bikes cannot exceed that figure. Another...

  • Do Any Trunk-Mounted Bike Racks for 2018 Ford Explorer Hold 4 Bikes
All trunk-mounted bike racks have a capacity that is limited to 3 bikes, not only for your 2018 Ford Explorer, but for all vehicles. That is because 4 bikes would stress the attachment points of the rack to greater degree, so the weight needs to be limited. If you are looking for a trunk-mounted rack the best option for your 2018 Ford Explorer is the Yakima FullBack 3-Bike Rack # Y02633. Otherwise, if you require a way to carry 4 bikes you will need a hitch and hitch-mounted bike rack;...

  • Swagman Titan vs Trailhead Bike Rack
The Swagman Titan # S63410 will give you more room between the center of the hitch pin hole to the center mast. It measures about 14-1/2 inches and the trailhead # S63381 only has 9-1/2 inches. The bike racks are about the same besides some minor things, one of those being the distance between your hitch and the start of the bike rack. I would go with the Titan!

  • How to Carry More Than 2 Bikes on 2014 Toyota Prius C
The hitch and bike rack manufacturers all agree that bike racks used in a Class I hitch like the Curt # C11484 should not carry any more than two bicycles (even kid's bikes) even if the rack used has a 4 bike capacity and for good reason. Weight is part of the reason, but leverage is also a huge consideration. Adding a 3rd and 4th bike moves more load further away from the hitch which rapidly increases the leverage and force applied not only to the hitch but to the hitch attachment points...

  • Class III Hitch Recommendation and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2008 Honda CRV Carrying 4 Bikes
For carrying 4 bikes you will need to use at least a Class II hitch. Since there are only Class I and Class III hitches available for your 2008 Honda CR-V I would recommend you get a Class III hitch like the Draw Tite Hitch # 75547. This hitch will allow you to have greater flexibility for picking future hitch accessories like cargo carriers due to the larger amount of products made to work on 2 inch hitches. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for this product...

  • Differences Between Swagman S63380 Trailhead and S63410 Titan 4 Bike Racks
Other than the fact that the Swagman # S63410 Titan includes an integrated cable lock and a slightly longer shank to move it further away from the rear of the vehicle, it's pretty much identical to the # S63380 Trailhead. Either bike rack can indeed be used on the back of a motorhome, but not a towed camper or trailer. At one time Swagman stated that this rack could not be used on anything other than a passenger car, truck, van or SUV, but further testing indicated that use on a motorhome...

  • Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack for Use Behind an RV or Trailer
There are only certain bike racks that are rated for use at the back of an RV and the Swagman Titan, # S63410 is not one of them. But you can use the Original, # S64400 or the XP, # S64940. I have linked videos for these racks for you. If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. • Options for Carrying Three Bikes with 2010 Toyota RAV 4
I may have a solution for you to carry your bikes but the SportRack 3 Bike Spare Tire Mounted Bike Rack you mentioned, part # SR2813 is unfortunately not compatible with the 2006-2014 Toyota Rav 4. We actually don't carry any 3-bike trunk mount racks that fit your vehicle. This leaves you with a few other options. • Comparing the Swagman Titan and the Thule Hitching Post Pro
When comparing the Swagman Titan, part # S63410, and the Thule Hitching Post Pro, part # TH934XTR, there are two main factors that put the Thule above the Swagman. The first is the material used. Thule is known for the exceptionally-well crafted racks, and the Hitching Post Pro is made of high--strength aluminum and steel. The Swagman is solidly built, but the Thule is just a little better in this arena. The second is how they handle on the road. I've linked to videos of both of these...

The Curt trailer hitch # C12013 will have the receiver just below the rear fascia on your 2006 Toyota Matrix. Take a look at the review with pictures on the product page to get an idea of where it will be. Curt does say that you need to use a stabilization strap, # 18050, for any non-trailer loads such as a bike rack. It will be close to the ground and steep inclines like driveways could cause the hitch to scrape on the ground. Going with the Class II is the right way to go. It will...

  • Swagman Titan 4 Bike Rack Weight Capacity Explained
That's a really good question. So the bike rack itself has a 100 lb overall capacity and the frame cradles on the rack for each bike has a max capacity of 35 lb. So basically you have to stay under 100 lbs if you plan to carry 4 bikes but if less than that you have to stay under 35 lbs per bike.

  • Comparing Swagman Titan and Thule Camper Bike Racks for a 2016 Nissan Rogue
I personally like the Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack # TH9056 better than the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Rack # S63410. It looks cleaner, is easier to load/unload bikes, and it is backed by the Thule name which is huge in the bike rack industry. Both bike racks use levers both for tilting the rack away and for folding the arms down, but the Thule does have the cradles spaced out 7" on center which is further than the Swagman so it'll be easier to load/unload bikes. Another plus is that the straps...

I definitely recommend going with the available 2" receiver EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7239 instead of a 1-1/4" receiver since many more accessories will fit the 2" opening. I can't tell you the ground clearance on the Thule Apex XT 4 # TH9025XT because ultimately that's something that depends on your vehicle and the hitch, but it doesn't have a shank rise on it so it's likely going to have the same scraping issue as your hitch. With that said, the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # S63410 offers most of the same features of the Apex like locks for the bikes, and the ability to tilt the rack away from your vehicle. Both of these will fit your spare mount and can be adjusted so that the bikes are centered on the rear of the vehicle.
