Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

The hitch eeceiver I bought is perfect for my RV. What I was even more impressed with was the updates etrailer.com sent as my order processed and shipped. Each step of the way I was updated by employees who accompanied the update with their photos. Very personalized experience. Thank you etrailers.com!

by:

Package arrived on time-there was a good deal of dust in the package but that doesn’t hurt anything-the hitch and pieces are heavy duty.

by:

Curt Class V receiver received complete and as advertised. Now, to get it installed by welder/ installer on '03 Newmar Dutch Star.

by:

Worked great for my custom application. Placed behind my custom bumper as a hidden hitch.

by:

Well made hitch, very adjustable, and easy to install. No problems towing my 30' cabin cruiser with my new-to-me Semi-tractor. Exactly what I was looking for.

by:

Excellent product, just what I needed for a modified flatbed installation

by:

by:

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Options For a 2013 Ford E-350 Cutaway Chassis
It sounds like your 2013 Ford E-350 cutaway chassis will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14055. This receiver is specific to fitting the cutaway chassis with the mounting bolt holes 38-5/8" on center. If your holes are not this and the 38-5/8" is the frame width you will need a Universal Receiver # 15901 as there is not a custom fit available. The Receiver # 41547 you found is for a F-Series cutaway chassis and will not fit your E-350.

For a higher capacity multi fit hitch that could be used on a 42 inch wide vehicle frame we have the Curt hitch part # 15901 which would work great. This hitch has a towing capacity of 15,000 lbs and can fit frames that are between 18 inch and 44 inch so it would work great for you.

  • Recommended 10,000 lbs Capacity Hitch for a Motorhome
I have a universal hitch that will fit your Gulf Stream and provide you with the needed 10,000 lbs towing capacity but it must be welded on. It is the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch item # 15901. None of the bolt on hitches have a capacity higher than 5,000 lbs. I have linked the instructions below so you can take a look at the steps and understand the process.

  • Best Class V Trailer Hitch for a Class C Motorhome
I do still have an option for you in the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch part # 15901 but it sounds like you are looking for a custom fit trailer hitch and none of the trailer hitch manufacturers we offer custom fit them to motorhome chassis. Therefore, you will need to notify the above to work for you. It has a class v rating with adjustable brackets that will accommodate your motorhome with slight alterations. The low profile brackets will also provide you with the flush look...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Options For A 2005 Ford E-350 School Bus
Hi Jacob, The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14053 lists that it's a fit for cutaway chassis if the bolt holes are 38-5/8 inches from frame to frame. This would mean that the holes in your frame have to be spaced 38-5/8" from center to center in order for the hitch to work. With your vehicle be a school bus and the dimensions that you stated you'll likely have to go with a weld-on adjustable fit trailer hitch receiver. You'll want to measure the distance down from the frame to clear...

Hey Brian, That is correct, manufacturers do not offer a bolt-on trailer hitch receiver for 2011 Ford Expedition models. You'll have to go with a weld-on hitch and would need to measure the distance between your frame down to clear the bumper so that you can choose the correct drop: Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16" Drop # 41990-16 Curt 3" Drop # 15901 9" Drop # C47CR 10.865" Drop # 15902 11-1/2" Drop # 15903 18" Drop # C99CR

We have a hitch for your 2002 Bluebird bus, though the hitch you mentioned will not fit as it does not have the right dimensions and is designed as a bolt-on application for Ford trucks so it won't work for your particular application. The only option for a Bluebird bus is a universal fit weld-on hitch, and you just need to choose the right drop depending on how much lower your bumper is than the frame. Yes, certainly we can and will make the requested measurements but first let me be certain I am understanding correctly what you need. What I think you are wanting is a hitch for your 2005 Jayco Greyhawk that is built on the Ford E-450 Chassis. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receivers, # 13040 and # 14090 are designed to fit the Chevrolet Express Van. The bolt pattern and dimensions are not going to match the E-450 frame. I checked with Curt and Reese and there are no custom options for obvious reasons. The only styles of hitches that can be made to fit an older truck like yours is a universal hitch for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles with frames up to 44" like item # 15901 that has a 15k capacity.

  • Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 With 30-3/8 Inch Frame Width
There are two primary reasons why a hitch isn't available for the narrow framed Sprinter 3500 models. First, the vehicles aren't super-common, the wider framed vehicle is much more prevalent. Secondly, most of these vehicles are used as commercial vehicles that have been equipped by aftermarket upfitter companies that commonly add utility or service bodies or steps such as your vehicle is equipped with. It'd be difficult for the hitch manufacturers to develop a hitch because the way the...

With your 2007 Ford E-450 van chassis and Osage ambulance box you are going to need a weld on receiver like the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver # 15902. This particular receiver includes brackets which will allow for a drop of 10.865" from the vehicle frame. We also have the Receiver # 15901 which will give you up to 3" of drop if you do not need any more than that.

If Curt trailer hitch # 15901 was welded so that the top of the cross tube was flush against the bottoms of the frame rails the drop would only be about an inch or so. The other weld-on options would have even more drop so the Curt hitch is your best option.

  • Recommended Class V Trailer Hitch For 2003 Newmar Dutch Star RV
The Class lV or V hitches we have that are available for your 2003 Newmar Dutch Star RV require welding installations. I recommend the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Hitch, part # 15901. This will fit frames from 18 up to 44 inches, and with the side brackets produces a drop of 3 inches from the frame. This hitch has a 2 inch receiver opening. You will want to make sure you do not exceed the towing capacity of the RV.

  • Trailer Hitch for 2005 Jayco Greyhawk GS30 and Flat Tow Items for 2014 Ram 1500 Laramie
I always respect the manufacturers posted weight ratings when towing and hauling, I never push to the max and caution against exceeding those ratings. OEM's are required to complete rigorous testing before a vehicle is released for sale, this testing has been developed over decades of process improvements. Personally I prefer to stay at least 10 percent below the max rating for payload, towing and combined weights but I caution against exceeding them in any way. You state "...need to...

I have a solution for you but there are no custom fit hitches for the narrow 30 3/8 inch frame 2011 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 Dually models. They weren't as widely produced and some have a service body or step bumper which obstructs where a hitch would be mounted. If your Sprinter has a step bumper you will need to remove it. Once that's done, you'd want to measure the drop needed. The drop is the vertical measurement from the underside of the vehicle frame member and the lowest point...

  • What are the Towing Capacities for the Curt Hitches part # 15901 and # 15902
I can tell you what Curt lists as the capacities for their # 15901 and # 15902 hitches. You are correct, they both have 12k capacities. The only other capacity you will need to look up is the capacity for your RV. If it is at least 12k then you could take full advantage of the hitch's capacity assuming they were installed correctly. This info should be in the RV owner's manual.
