You are not always plugged into a full-power campsite when the RV starts heating up. This Chill Cube is 2,000W generator or inverter ready, giving you more flexibility for campgrounds, travel stops, and off-grid setups when paired with the right power source. Battery saver modes also help manage power use when you are trying to stretch your available energy. This unit runs on 115V, 60Hz power, with 1,330 watts of cooling power consumption and 15.5 amps of cooling current draw. Those numbers give you something concrete to compare against your RV electrical system, generator, inverter, or campsite power before installation.
This is the rooftop AC unit only, so it needs compatible Furrion R32 interior components to complete the installation. That may include the correct air distribution box, thermostat, and controls for your ducted layout. Replacing a ducted rooftop AC means lifting the unit onto the RV, sealing the roof opening, and connecting it to the correct interior controls and air distribution box. Matching the rooftop unit to the right R32 Furrion components helps avoid fitment issues, but installation is still a job where the right help can make a difference. Great a/c so far. Very quiet.
Product looks great. I have not gotten to install it yet, but it came with everything I needed to get the install complete. Very fast shipping. E-Trailer is a good company. Even better they are based here in Missouri and not some foreign land.
I am very happy. Pretty much a snap to install and works very well.
Worse than the 15000btu I replaced. This was marketed to be the best upgrade for big rvs/campers and it was extremely disappointing. Blows cold air so no one would ever replace it but it performed worse new than my wore out 15000btu Coleman. If it actually performed the way advertised it would be great but it was such a let down. Would not recommend at all.
The poor rating is not for the chill cube itself. I have know idea how good it is or isn’t. I waited for months for this come to the market. Now that it’s here and I was finally ready to buy it I made the mistake of purchasing the unit by itself. Before I realized that it didn’t have everything I needed I had already removed the old one from my roof. Once I realized I made a mistake I ordered the air distribution box for a ducted unit and it said it would ship next week. Just got an email that they will not have the ADB in stock until May 1st. If it simply said out of stock I wouldn’t have ordered. The fact the chill cube just came out and you sell the ADB and the unit separately is completely ridiculous. How many people are intentionally ordering them separately. If it is as good as it’s supposed to be there shouldn’t be any replacement ADB’s sold separately only a couple months after release. I will never order from etrailer again.
Cools very well. It is so quiet compared to old Dometic.

Installed today on my class c motor home. Took about 3 hours. Had help from a neighbor to exchange the ACs to and from the roof using an extension ladder and a rope. Once the Furrion unit was in place I was able to seal up and make electrical connections myself. Only wiring to do is the 120 volt connection to the provide terminal block. Other wiring is to premade connectors between the unit from above to the cover for the ceiling. Just need my wife to hold the cover grill in place for the final screws. Ran unit for couple hours after. Runs much quieter than the old unit and draws less watts from my solar panels. All good. Ready for our 6 week trip which we will boondocks many nights.
Let me begin by saying the customer service here is amazing. Both Lauren and Courtney really go out of their way to show how much they care about you as a customer. I ordered two Furrion ducted chill cubes. They arrived in less than a week and in good condition. We installed the 2 units in about 3 hours. Everything was included and fit perfectly. The units are quiet and the controls work as they should. The price, while not the lowest was fair. Hopefully they are reliable and last a long time.

Bought this to replace junk GE unit. Install was very easy but instructions are questionable. You can look at my review of the ceiling control/Air box for more info, but there was really nothing to install the roof unit. Seems to work great so far, but it's still winter in Florida and I just installed, so I guess we shall see.

I am in Bullhead City, Arizona. Our RV is 29' Forest River TT. We replaced our 15.5K btu Furrion Chill A/C with the Furrion 18K Chill Cube. The hope was we could get it cooler than what the 15.5K btu did. The 15.5K btu did a 25 degree split from outside. When its 123 degrees outside its hot inside. The Chill Cube 18K could not cool as good as the 15.5k It was 20 degrees difference. The only plus was it was A LOT quieter. Solution was a window A/C to help.
Yes, I think the product is a good product. My expectations were not reasonable at our temps. Disappointed it did not cool as much as the old one.
Installation was easy once we were able to set it on the roof. That was the hardest part for us. It's awkward to lift above your head. Once placed over the opening, it bolted easy. The new control panel was easy to install too. We had to replace the thermostat on the wall for the heater in our RV.

Coleman 15K to Furrion 18K?
My Installer told me to stick with the Coleman.The Furrion "Hype" made me do otherwise. First the folks at etrailer were great, support was great and they even answered an email Tech. question on a Sunday.
I have a ducted Motorhome. The install went easy, Ducting no. We had to buy a different air box and modify. I have pictures of before and after that I will post. My ducting system runs centerline and the air box(Furrion) supplied directs air to the sides so air box modifications had to be done.
The Coleman has better air flow (CFM) than the FURRION. The nice thing about the Furrion was you could direct the air flow down which pours cold air in the middle of the coach which is nice when everyone is sitting at the table. The Coleman you only have the ducts so cooling a hot motorhome takes longer.
Both make Ducted and Center down units.
The Coleman draws 13a and the Furrion 7a. Because of the low draw I tried running my Honda iu2000 generator and it worked! If it wasnt for being able to direct air straight down, and I just replaced the roof, I would have returned the Furrion and went back to coleman. The RV place that installed mine, called me 2 weeks later and said they installed a Coleman in a rig just like mine and it was Colder. I believe that because the non ducted units puts our alot of air flow, even over the Furrion, I think the Furrion "Chill Cube" name is gimicky but that has nothing to do with etrailer.

Its works ok. My right gets cold enough. Keep in mind switching from the Coleman unit to the Furroon, you lose your controls for AC on the wall. If you read my orginal post and todays.. I would have just purchased the Coleman and been done with it. More air flow, Coldera little and my Coleman thermostat would work on normal.

Sorry to hear that, Timothy. Can I ask how it is performing worse than the Coleman you replaced? Is it pushing less air or not cooling as well?
