Furrion Chill Cube RV AC Unit that Can Fit Holiday Rambler Armada

Updated 04/21/2025 | Published 04/07/2025

Question:

I have a Holiday Rambler Armada. I have Coleman Mach a/c’s. My a/c’s don’t come inside at all. Fully ducted. Does Furrion make a replacement unit

Hey Brad, Furrion does have a Chill Cube that was designed to fit ducted applications with the part # FR69TD. This replaces everything which would be what you'd need as none of the options we carry will work with any of the Dometic components you have currently. How did you like the Mach?

The link to the FR69TD that you sent shows a picture of the unit that dumps the air out of the bottom, not to the ducts. There is confusion about the term "Air Distibution Box" I have a Thor Aria that is also fully ducted. Why would I need an air distribution box if my unit already has ducts I will be using? This thread does not leave me with great confidence as even your video talks about the refrigerant change as a reason that it is not compatible with other units. That makes no sense.

@Tj Does your RV not have a spot for a blow down vent right under the assembly? Since these install through 14 by 14 inch roof openings normally this is how this works. While it's still fully ducted there's a spot to have a blow down vent located right under the assembly. There was a coolant law change that went into affect this year which is unit is compatible with. That's not exactly why it's not compatible to replace other units but it's part of the story more or less.
