Does The Fan In The Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit Cycle On And Off?

Does the Chill Cubes fan constantly run or does it cycle on and off?

Hello Andrew, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the fan in the Furrion Chill Cube AC unit does run constantly when in auto, cooling or dry mode. This is by design. The only way to stop the fan is to turn the unit off. I verified this with my contact at Furrion and with the help of our friend Rick as you'll see in the comments below.

Hello I have a 2021 kz Durango gold 388fls has two Colman 15,000 BTU ducted only. cannot see where the ACs are at on the roof inside only has a little vents throughout the top of the camper with a touch screen one control by Lippert thermostat. would I be able to use the two 18,000 btu furrions? thanks

@AaronH You can use the Furrion Chill Cube units in your RV but they would not work with the Lippert OneControl Tonch screen. According to Furrion, the Chill Cube can only work with a Chill Cube thermostat from Furrion.

Jesse M. Your response is Incorrect. I spoke with Cody at Furrion support (432) 547-7389, and the Furrion Chill Cube 18K Ducted RV Rooftop Air Conditioner fan runs continuously. While the compressor will cycle on and off, the fan runs continuously in Auto, Cool, Dry modes. To turn the fan off, you must turn the unit off.

@RickH Thanks for letting me know. I just talked to my contact at Lippert and they confirmed what you said. The fan will always run. That is per design. It will continue to run to move the air in the coach, regulate desired temps, and eliminate hot spots. I must have got bad info at some point. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll edit the answer above.
