Updated 08/13/2025 | Published 07/09/2025

Question:

2024047199 Furrion Chill Cube Thermostat - Ducted - Single Zone Replaces Furrion FACT12CA-PS Item FR69TD I recently bought the furrion 18k chillcube kit from yall but am having an issue installing the thermostat. It appears to have a 6 pin connecter on the aftermarket box but my wires from my rvs previous factory installed ac have a 5 pin. Is there an adapter kit? Or would i need to re wire to get the thermostat to work? Previous account was the factory installed coleman mach with air excel thermostat on a 2020 salem hemisphere hyper lyte

Hey Victoria,

There is not an adapter out there that would simply just plug the 2 together. For the thermostat you would need to re-wire it manually to install. AC units and parts are no longer compatible with different brands which is why there is not an adapter out there.

Did you get instructions on wiring it in with the unit you ordered? If not I am happy to get that over to you.

My rv tech is saying the thermostat i received is not compatible with the chill cube since the wiring pins are a 6 pin on the ac, and the thermostat has 5 pin connecter.

@Victoria I am wondering if you maybe got sent a older model thermostat. I see that a full kit was ordered for the new refrigerant style. Was there a specific part number on the thermostat that you received? The old thermostats had that 5 pin style and if that is the case we had sent a wrong thermostat and need to get you a new one! Let me know if you have a specific part number on that thermostat or feel free to send me a photo of it so I can clear that up.

@Victoria Take a look at part # LC74DX. On the last photo of the product page it shows a zoomed in photo of the plug from the thermostat. Does yours look like that? That last photo is the new thermostat and shows the same 6 pin connector as the AC unit. With my luck that model number didn't gather me any helpful information. Let me know if it is in fact a 5 pin instead of 6 and I will have someone from our Customer Service team reach out and help you get the right parts.
