Recommendation for Replacing a Carrier Air V RV Air Conditioner

Looking for a replacement unit for Carrier Air V ducted and also controls onboard furnace.

Hi Kenneth!

To replace your Carrier Air V, I recommend using the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner 15K - Single Zone - White part # FR83TD. The Furrion Chill HE has a built-in start capacitor to give the compressor a boost and start up the AC while using less power, which is great if you're running off a generator. It has a 15,000 btu per hour capacity and requires 15.8 amps while running. The thermostat with this unit also allows for your furnace to be wired in so you can control both from one thermostat. The Furrion Chill HE is offered in both black and white and single zone and multi zone if you have more than one air conditioner on your motorhome, I've linked both colors and zone types below for you.
