Why Can't I Mix and Match RV AC Systems and Thermostats?

Question:
Good day. Im looking for a thermostat that works on 12 volts and will work with my RVs AC and Heating. All your thermostats say the brand they are made for, but it seems to me it shouldnt matter. My AC is coleman-mach. The problem with my current thermostat is it will not run the fan continuously while in heating mode. I would like a thermostat that does, has a digital display, and preferably has a heat/cold mode that uses heat/cold to maintain a steady temp within a margin. My current one does that but because of minimum run times it heats for too long rising the temp too high, then turns the AC on. That mode is not necessary, but preferable. Can you list a few models that would fit my needs and work with my system?

No, I can't Dan because RV thermostats or at least 100% of ours don't work like that. It has to do with the signals sent to the control board in the ac unit or air diffuser box. There are some universal options out there but we do not carry them so I am not sure if there's one for the Coleman-Mach.
My only option for you is to replace your Coleman-Mach system with one that works with a thermostat like item # FR88TD. You can use the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR65TD. This system has a zone controller that will allow you to wire in a furnace.
What kind of RV or trailer do you have?

The camper is a 2025 Jayco 29DDB. It has a Coleman-Mach AC, and a Suburban heater. The current thermostat is a Coleman-Mach 9420-381. With a brand new camper, it wouldn't be reasonable to replace the system so looking for a thermostat that will work with my current system and allow the fan to circulate while the heat mode is on. Thank you.
