Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Trimax six foot long Max-Dual Force U shackle cable lock. Now, this is a dual force security system. Basically, it combines this hardened steel U lock with this braided Trimaflex cable for maximum protection. Has an integrated U lock, uses a heavy duty seven-pin anti-drill lock core, which will resist drilling, picking, and cutting attempts. Now, it does come with three keys.

Two of them are regular keys and the other one is a nice lighted key. That if you push the button on the key, it actually will light up. So in case, let's say you're in the dark, let's turn the lights off and now you'll be able to see how it actually gives you a nice lighted area so you can actually see where the lock is and put your key right in there. Nice key to have. It is a multipurpose design, just to show you to open it up, there's your locked core.

Just take your key and insert your key in there. And if you just turn it 180 degrees, it unlocks the U shackle here that goes through the core. And then to lock it back into place, you just put it in there, turn it back 180 degrees, and it locks that in place. This U lock will secure a solid anchor point while the cable itself wraps around frames, wheels, or anchors, making it harder for thieves to defeat both layers of protection. So this would be ideal for motorcycles, ATVs, bicycles, watercraft, and even construction equipment.

It is a nice flexible, you can see, six foot cable. It's long enough to secure multiple items at once. The finish on it is really nice, it has a nice coating on it, so there's no sharp edges. Same way on the whole lock. There's nothing sticking out that could damage anything.

And again, just to show you, we'll take the lighted key this time, put it in there, turn it 180, releases it, put it back through there if you want, put it back into place, turn the key back, simple as that. You're locked and ready to go. Cable length we mentioned is six feet. The diameter on the cable is 5/8 of an inch.
