Ordered 2 more cable locks to secure 2 kayaks to the wall racks I recently installed. These will work just fine.
So far this is a great bike rack. So easy to install and easy to place bikes on. The real test will be when we head out on our next trip. I used a piece of plumbing insulation around the bottom of my ladder to ensure the first bike brake handle doesn’t scrape against the back of the RV. Happy with the rack and amazed at how fast it came in the mail. Thanks etrailer!
This is a great bicycle lock. It is long enough to secure 4 bikes on my receiver hitch carrier or in the back of my truck. It doesn't show any signs of wear after a year, the lock still works great. Just used it this weekend while camping.
What can I say - it's a lock. Use it on my bike carrier to secure bikes to the hitch. I fish through the safety chain loop on the hitch and through the frames of the bikes. So far I've only used it to secure two bikes. It's probably long enough to secure three bikes on a tray style bike rack, but doubt it could do 4 bikes.
Nice product. I like the length--perfect for locking the bikes up while on the bike rack. On the Curt bike rack, I am able to thread this cable through the bikes, through the security ring on the rack, and through the chain ring on the trailer hitch so that all three are locked up.
thids bike rack will work great then the bikes are in the bed of the truck, its just what i wanted
Love that I have it keyed to match my other trailer locks. Its a little bit of extra work to screw it on and off versus a traditional style lock, but its worth it. I highly recommend it.
I come to etrailer all the time for their in-depth reviews, question answering and more importantly, videos. For something as simple as this lock, it was actually hard to find retailers selling the kind I needed. I plan on using this to lock my bike to my hitch rack (through my hitch hook holes) and also to secure my kayak on the roof. Good price and fast shipping.
Great quality lock. Great price. I shopped everywhere local and online. This is a great deal. Bought it for securing my bike and bike cover to the hitch-mounted bike rack on the back of my motorhome. I also purchased the hitch-mounted bike rack from ETrailer. ETrailer is awesome.
The only concern I have with my order is that when I installed the rack to the hitch it was not stable. When I drive the rack seem to move around without the bikes even on the rack. I have to figure out if i need another part to secure the rack. Overall I am happy with the product and the price it was sold for.
The cable/lock items I purchased are GREAT!! JUST as explained on the website. Have pre tested it and every thing is fine. Looking forward to using it very soon. It will be used some on our local adventures but for sure when we go south next year the cables will give me satisfaction that someone just can't lift off our bikes and run. He will need heavy duty bolt cutters to accomplish this. We have purchased numerous items from E-Trailer, bolt on hitch, lockable pin, locking cables and other items. I purchased this cable to go through our 4 bikes that were mounted on a Thule Hitching Post Pro and through the Hidden Hitch Class III trailer hitch that I also purchased at the same time from E trailer. We just got back from a 1400 mile trip with the bikes. I felt secure leaving the bikes on the rack and in the motel lot overnight as well as at the Mall of America for a few hours while there. This 10ft. cable is easy to use and secures your bikes well, as well as the carrier from being stolen if you run it through the welded hitch loops.
I have a Thule 4 bike hitch mounted carrier. With 2 street bikes, one on the rack closest to the vehicle and the other on the 3rd rack, I can run the CAB-10 through one of the trailer hitch safety holes and through both tires and the frames for each bike and lock them. Works extremely well and very quick. Locksmith said it was not possible to convert the key from my locking bike hitch or the CAB-10 to be the same, even though the keys looked like they were from the same family of locks. A minor inconvenience. Net, a well designed product, and works well for its intended purpose.
I used this lock to secure my belongings on my vehicle’s hitch carrier platform during my three month trip trough AK last year. The cable lock worked flawlessly and provided much stress relief during my adventure
These work okay. It's also nice being able to have all of the locks keyed the same.
I purchased two, One for a 2-5/16" coupler a year earlier and this one for a 2" coupler. The larger one is still working okay, but this one failed after about 9 months. Not sure if defective or poor quality. Waiting to see how the other one holds up.
I ordered pick up truck bed bike rack and a ten foot locking cable to secure the bikes. Both products are well made and the bike rack was easy to install. The locking can be used for many applications. I will probably purchase another one. I would recommend these items.

Tell you truth, I did not use it. I do not know what to do with it! Really not what I asked for. Sales person was not listening to me. Sold me useless stuff
Awesome product! I use it to secure my mountain bike to my truck. Ironically the bike is worth more than the truck!
It works great for locking up my e-bike. Either to the bike rack on my trailer or when I go out for a ride. I can lock it to any bike rack or pole.

Its still is working great. I havent had any problems with this cable lock. It works perfectly. Very happy with this product.
Easy to install. I have used this bike rake for 3 trips already. It has been great.
Rubber tube cover without any logo makes the SRX the classy SUV it is.
I purchased this cable lock to secure items that I carry on a trailer hitch carrier. It has worked perfectly and just as I had planned for it to.
I bought these to secure my kayaks but have found multiple other uses, as well.
This lock has been great for our travels and commuting. It is long enough to get two bikes locked together around a bike rack on our trailer, a tree while camping, and a post etc while commuting.
