Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Trimax three foot long ironclad armor-plated stainless steel cable lock with the quick release mounting bracket. Now, this cable lock is ideal for securing motorcycles, bicycles, ladders, construction equipment, and many other items. It's an armor-plated stainless steel construction, so it will resist cutting, rust, and harsh weather for ultimate durability. The lock core on it is an anti-drill lock core, and the shackle is a hardened shackle with a 22 millimeter diameter cable. This will provide maximum strength to prevent bolt cutter attacks.
Has a durable PVC skin cover on the cable to prevent any scratching of the items you're gonna be securing. And it is a nice compact and versatile design. Fits a wide range of applications from gates, storage units. It does offer keyed access. It's quick and secure unlocking without fumbling with combinations.
If you notice, it does include three keys and one key right here, if you push the side, has an actual light on it. So you can see if I turn off the overhead lights, if you push that light, you can actually find where the lock is with this key by using the light. Now, it does also offer a quick release mounting bracket to store it. Quick release means you just push down on that red button and it lets you remove the cable for use, and then you can put this around wherever you want and then you just slide this to store the cable. Just line it up, slide it back on and it locks it in place.
Now the keys again, to show you how it unlocks, you just put your key in there. And then when you turn the key, you can notice cable comes right out. Now, the key cannot be removed. Once you unlock it, it stays attached. But basically when you go to lock it, once you push it all the way in, you'll notice that the key moves, just turn it, pull it out, and it's locked into place.
Simple as that. Very easy to use. Then the cable length on this is three feet. The diameter is 22 millimeters or about 7/8 of an inch. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Trimax three foot long ironclad armor-plated stainless steel cable lock with the quick release mounting bracket.
