Excellent fit on my 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn. Easy to install, but it's a 2 man job, very heavy duty.

Part fit perfectly. The box came damaged and the bumper brackets were missing. Contacted etrailer and they shipped the missing parts the next day. Easy and quick installation. Did it by myself in about 90 minutes! Was initially concerned when description said "heat shield needs to be modified" however turned out to be a quick fix with a hammer!
Was a simple install replacing my Class III hitch.
Instructions were good but picture in them where very bad. To dark to see.
Box received damaged probably because it is such a heavy item.

This hitch is heavy duty!!! It's installation is relatively easy IF you are handy with tools and mechanics. Towed my 12,000# travel trailer the day after installation. Hitch Worked Perfectly ! ! !
The product i have no problem with. Its Perfect for what i need.
The shipping WAS a nightmare, missing for days and after a week got delivered, with missing hardware, multiple holes on the box it came with and scratches.
Thankfully the customer service was awesome and they came to rescue me with sending the replacement parts in a timely manner to do the installation.

When I received the hitch in the mail the box was damaged and missing all of the hardware. I contacted etrailer and they shipped out replacement parts no questions asked! Great to work with!
This hitch fit perfectly on my truck and I’m now able to tow my travel trailer. A couple of notes though.. the instructions were hard to follow along. If they were a bit more detailed it would be better to understand. A video would be superb to follow along to. Also, the connector that it has us disconnect for the bumper wires is not the one that is needed. It’s a bit further down and a pain to take off. Overall it was an easy install just takes a bit of time!
Order arrived quickly. Box was a bit chewed up but the hitch was ok. We had a lot of rain and so I waited about a week before me and my grandson installed the hitch. The hitch bolted up exactly as expected. First impression is that it is very well built and I anticipate years of good service from it. Would recommend it to others. Going with the class 5 was the right decision. I may not need that much towing capacity but it is nice to know it is there.
The hitch is high quality and what I expected. The packaging is destroyed though and my UPS guy wasn't happy.
Excellent hardware, my mechanic required 3 hrs to install including bumper removal & reinstall.

I replaced the factory hitch receiver on my RAM 1500 Rebel after an accident that took out my bumper. The Curt Hitch Receiver was an easy install. The Curt hitch receiver is heavier and a much sturdier receiver than the OEM. Highly recommend this as a replacement or upgrade if you are towing any heavy trailers.
I'm sure the product is great. However the customer service and return policy is not. I found this product via a google search and never used etrailers before. I drive a 2023 Ram 1500 Classic. This product is for a Ram 1500. Yes if I would have narrowed down the search via the website by going their first instead via google I would have not purchased this as it is the wrong fitment. However on the page for this product there are two different sections that explain fitment. One at the top right and midway down on the left. Seeing that it does fit a 2023 1500 mid left and not knowing that Classic would cause a problem (as this usually means body style difference) I assumed I was good and never saw the other note for Classics. Explaining to etrailers that their website should hold this information in ONE spot to make sure customers have a user friendly site meant nothing to them neither did the added information that it would not fit a Classic as it was "unconfirmed" via the page also meant nothing to them. You would think this along with feedback of their site would provide value to offset the return shipping cost. Apparently not. "Customer Service" unfortunately like most customers service people today on the two times I spoke with her over the phone had the "tone". You can hear it in her voice (dealt with one person). Everyone knows what I mean by that. I'm sure Curt makes a good product...just buy it elsewhere.
PS: They also sent the wrong instructions. Sent me instructions for a Ford. Glad they can make mistakes and not pay with time or money. Had to get them emailed.

Insanely difficult to see anything, 3D images might be a better way to go. I don’t know what they’re thinking!
The brackets to mount the bumper were not even close. Completely wrong ones.

Not a year. Its only been a couple of weeks and I still had to drill several holes to mount this hitch and the brackets to hang the bumper with were completely wrong.

Not worth a crap. The wrong bracket was sent and they never made it right. Emailed and just got the run around.
I’m giving this 5 stars for the quality of the product. However, the installation instructions are not clear and the pictures are to dark.
Have had the hitch for about a year now. Installation was simple, took about an hour total and it’s held up perfect.
Great is the correct word. I need to tow my 8000 lb . boat trailer. The web site gives out the right information and I was able to choose Curt class v . Ordered on Friday and the part was here on Saturday. I followed the instructions and got it installed Sunday. I am 74 years old and I got the hitch installed in about two hours by myself. The parts fits perfect and I did the whole job by myself. I would advise two would be lot easier. The associates at e trailer are superb . I would recommend any one to do business with them.

The hitch went on easily! I had a couple extra hands to help as it is a bit unwieldy by yourself. But the installation was straight forward and all the hardware arrived with the hitch. This is my second hitch purchase from etrailer, they are fast, and helpful. The first hitch I installed on a 2015 Cherokee, it arrived missing a couple grade V nuts. After calling the support line with the part number I had the missing pieces in a couple days!

A year in and the hitch is great! No issues and I feel like I can count on it working for as long as I have my truck!
Exactly as described. Directions were spot on. Managed to do it by myself but it is pretty heavy and getting it lifted up to attach to the truck frame was not an easy task.
Purchased the Curt class V XD 2” hitch receiver for my 2019 ram 1500. I was able to complete the installation alone with all of the included hardware. The fit was perfect with no additional modifications to the vehicle. I have been towing with this receiver for a year now, a bumper pull toy hauler at 7klbs and a ski boat around 3500lbs. Highly recommend.
