Does Curt Hitch C15005 for 2019 Ram 1500 Require Removal of Factory Trailer Hitch

Question:
I have a 2019 Ram 1500 DT with the class 3 built in bumper hitch. Do i need to remove the class 3 hitch to install this class V hitch. Thank you

The Curt hitch part # C15005 does fit your 2019 Ram 1500 that has the factory Class III hitch but you will need to remove the factory hitch you have now for this to fit. Essentially this replaces the factory hitch and bumper beam which is why the factory hitch has to be removed.
I attached a picture of what this looks like installed on a similar Ram truck as yours as well.
