This Curt Class I hitch receiver gives you 2,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 200 lbs maximum tongue weight. Such an easy install. I thought feeding the bolts through the holes would be a pain. I installed it by myself in under 30 minutes. I love how etrailer has how to videos posted as well! The delivery was fast as well.
Super easy to install. Two of us with little mechanical experience were able to confidently handle the installation by reading the directions and watching the video. Shipping was really fast too.
Well though out product design and very well made. Installation was made incredibly easy because of the thought that was put into the way the hitch actually bolts to my sonic. Definitely recommend this over any universal design. Shipped to me very quickly as well.

This place delivers faster than my local pizza shop. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from etrailers and both times I was extremely satisfied with both the quality and ease of installation and the delivery.I live near a huge trailer and hitch place and have never gotten the satisfaction that I have by installing it myself . A blind monkey could do it.

I ordered this hitch for my 2017 sonic rs sedan, I was worried it would not fit due to it being an rs, I looked into the q and a on the site and a e trailer expert ensured it fits, when trying to install I found the exhaust and hanger not allowing the hitch to fit even close to its proper location, what a waist of time and money.

Thanks for the prompt delivery of the trailer hitch for my 2013 Chevy
Sonic Sedan. The hitch looked good and fit perfect. I installed it in about 45 minutes.It will be used to tow a lightweight utility trailer.
Straight forward install. Able to install without using a vehicle lift.
Easy install for unskilled labor! Will use for mobility equipment.
The site said this hitch could be installed in about a half an hour. Usually that mean 2 hours and as I am 68 and don't relish laying on my back under a car, i was apprehensive. But it fit perfectly and the hardware and design were tops so that everything went together without a hitch (oops, poor choice of words). The most time consuming part of the whole process was jacking up the car.

First, shipping was crazy fast. I placed my order and got a shipping confirmation 2 hours later. I expected my hitch to take at least a week to arrive. Even with the pandemic going on it was here in 5 days. Only 1 day later than the original estimation. When I opened the box I was thoroughly impressed. I order a hitch for a Chevy Sonic, so I figured it wouldn’t be much. Boy was I wrong. This hitch was stout and had some weight to it. Absolutely incredible design and quality. Installation was a breeze with the supplied bolt leaders. I installed this by myself in about 10 minutes. I couldn’t be happier with it. Now I’m ready to buy my boat.
Omg this product is awesome and installed in just a few mins i run my car up ramps installed the draw wires thru pulled back the bolts slide the hitch in place and put on the nuts .....torqued them up and car back down in less than 15 mins ....i was expecting 30 to 40 min ....a child can do this one awesome product awesome service

shipment was fast. Part lined up fine. I was having a hard time deciding where to run the install wire. I decided to drill a hole in the trunk right above the bolt holes. I opened the trunk and there was a 1 1/2 plug and hole on both sides right over the bolt holes. This is not mentioned anywhere so I thought I better share.
