Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Optronics LED amber and red strobe light. It's a surface mount and it's got 54 different flash pattern options. Now folks, I want to caution you up front later on in this demo we're gonna have the lights off and some strobe and flash patterns being demoed. So if that's not your cup of tea or your susceptible to those kind of things, make sure you stop the video at that point or fast forward as needed for your personal preferences. I will let you know before we get into that.
Now, getting in to the light, you got a nice rectangular shape with a four wire pigtail. It's got a nice durable polycarbonate lens with a aluminum sealed housing. So it is weather resistant. It's compatible with 12 and 24 volt systems. It is 2-1/2 inches long overall by 2-1/16 tall and just 3/8 inches thick.
So very slim low profile. The center to center between those nine holes is exactly two inches on center. And as you can see, there's six diodes in there. There are three amber and three clear or white lights. They give you a nice bezel to put on whenever you're doing the installation, along with a double-sided adhesive with aluminum screws from Mountainous.
Now this will be great for tight spaces, work trucks, trailers, those kind of things and the strobe and everything will alert other drivers of your presence. And again, service vehicles, emergency vehicles, those kind of things. You can wire it up to have alternating functions that allow multiple lights to be wired together or to take turns displaying a pattern. So maybe like a wigwag kind of thing if you're familiar with that. And the synchronized function allows you to put multiple lights on one circuit and display a pattern in unison.
So maybe all the ones down the left side of your tow truck, let's say, and all the ones down the right side to do the same flash pattern. Now as you know, LED lights are highly efficient, durable, and long lasting. And these are again compatible with 12 to 24 volt DC systems. So folks, right now you need to go ahead and turn your head, pause or do whatever you need to do. I'm gonna go ahead and power this up and we're gonna go through a lot of the different light patterns, not all of 'em, just due to time and whatnot. So here we go. Okay, and like I said earlier, I'm just gonna be taking the blue wire 'cause that's the one that changes the pattern here and everything. And right now I've just got the red on and let's actually go ahead and get the white on as well if we can. So I apologize on your screen if you see the lights look like they're hyper flashing, a lot of that honestly is just the camera speed. I will zoom out to a different angle and a better camera here in a second. I do wanna kind of show you with the lights on real quick. You got red and amber, so I'm gonna go ahead and turn the lights off and see if we can see this better and also farther away. So you can see red, amber, red, amber, red, amber, let's go ahead and zoom out. So that's a better view of the red amber. I'll close the camera, just kind of blends 'em together almost. Now I'm gonna go ahead and see if I can change the functions here or the pattern rather. So you can see already it's going through some just amber, some just red, and then faster. So again, a lot of different options. It seems like it goes through a couple reds, then a couple ambers, and then a couple mixed every time I tap it. There you go. It's changing that one. And again, when you wire this up, you'll be able to do all that through like maybe a toggle switch inside the cab of your vehicle, something of that nature. So again folks, 54 different patterns. Once again, I'm not gonna go through all of 'em, there's just too many. Most of 'em are pretty similar from what I've been seeing this morning testing it out. And most of 'em, like I said, they just do like a bunch of different reds, then they do a different ambers and they kind of mix it and it seems to go in that kind of order. Like red, then amber, then red, amber, red, amber, and just different speed. So I think that's gonna go ahead and wrap up that demo. I'll go ahead and shut this off and let's turn the overhead lights back on. Alright, now that I'm seeing stars in here, again folks, this is the Optronics LED Strobe Light Surface Mount in amber and red, 54 flash patterns. I am Steven, thank you so much for your time folks. Thank you for hanging with me there. Have a great day and stay safe.
Extremely bright lights. Very low profile and sleek looking!
