When you’re not towing, this base plate keeps your front end looking clean. The fixed-arm design mounts directly to the chassis and eliminates bulky crossbars or large brackets, so only the tabs are visible. Hidden reinforcement keeps the setup subtle while still delivering a solid attachment point for your tow bar.
This kit is made from heavy-duty steel and bolts securely to the vehicle’s chassis—no welding required. Its sturdy design spreads towing forces evenly to help minimize weight on the suspension and hold firm through long-distance trips. The fixed draw bars provide dependable strength mile after mile.
The straightforward bolt-on installation means you can tackle the job yourself without special tools or fabrication. Everything needed for mounting comes in the box, including instructions and hardware. The electrical bracket makes it easy to mount a round electrical connector plug for a clean wiring setup.
You don’t need to replace your tow bar to use this base plate. It works directly with all etrailer tow bars and Demco Victory Series models, and it can be adapted for use with other brands using optional adapters (e98979, e98980, e98981, e98982, e98983, or e98984). That flexibility makes it easy to keep your existing equipment while setting up a dependable towing system.

For planning your tow bar alignment, the distance between brackets is 20" and bracket height is 14". These specs help ensure a level connection with your motorhome when paired with the correct high-low adapter.

Not bad. It was easy to mount, took about an hour. It’s Steel so not much to say with regard to it malfunctioning. Seems to be a Demco, at least that’s what the caps say. I bought it cause it looked like it would fit my inexpensive VEVOR tow bar. Had to remove a thin layer of metal so the connector from the tow bar would slip on easy. Pins aligned right up. Tow bar was less than the base plate so I completed this project for very little money compared to having it done. For a big hunk of steel, its really nice!! Recommend it…
