The Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Hitch is made for serious towing. With a 30,000-lb gross towing weight and 7,500-lb tongue weight rating, it’s ready for heavy livestock, dump, or equipment trailers. The dual locking pin system keeps the 2-5/16" chrome-plated ball locked tight in place so you get a solid, confident connection that won’t shift under strain.

Once you’re finished towing, you can reclaim your full bed space in minutes. Just pull the handle in the wheel well to release the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back in the hitch for storage. A rubber cover snaps over the opening to keep dirt and grime out, and everything sits below the bed surface for a clean, uncluttered look.
Installing this hitch is made simpler with the included Curt Center Locator tool. It guides where to drill the 4" hole for the ball and shows orange shavings when you’ve drilled far enough—no guesswork or measuring needed. The custom mounting kit bolts on with grade-8 hardware, requires no welding or bed removal, and makes it possible for one person to handle installation at home.

Built from high-strength, laser-cut steel and finished with a carbide black powder coat and zinc-plated locking parts, this hitch is made to last through years of heavy use. Spring-loaded safety-chain hookups are built right in for extra security. The result is a hitch that feels rock solid—like part of the truck frame—and stays that way through every haul.

Great hitch, working great. Many, many miles on it dragging horses all over the Midwest. Only thing I did was coat locking pins and ball with anti-seize.

I contacted Curt and they said that there is something different about your truck. I looked through our previous reviews on the matter and came across a similar situation as yours where the brackets hit the U-bolts. One of our experts said that the suspension may be worn and sitting lower than normal causing the issue. The customer then replied a year later saying that he installed air bags on his truck and the problem was resolved. I would check your suspension and see if this would be your solution as well.
