With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.

Easy-to-Remove, Simple-to-Store Hitch Ball

The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Operation

When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.

Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.

Simple, Custom Installation

This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.

Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Accessories

B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer. Even a truck bed utility rack is available so that you can easily haul ladders and lumber with the load placed on the hitch (and therefore your truck's frame) instead of your bed rails.

The customer service from eTrailer is top notch. I ordered my B&W 1067 the day before New Year's Eve. I had it within 5 days including the holiday and weekend. The B&W 1067 installed pretty easy. I did it myself in about 3 hours. I was lucky that my truck previously had a B&W 1067 installed so I didn't have to drill any holes. The only complaint that I have is I was short 2 bolts in the hardware bag. I didn't worry with calling eTrailer; I just went and bought new ones.

Works great, easy to use and pulls my trailer without issues.

I ordered this hitch a year ago, customer service called me to verify the model of my truck and installed my self on a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500hd classic the hitch by far has been the best hitch I’ve owned. I have a 32 foot gosseneck I pull and it’s easy to hook up and holds the weight. The springs on the safety chains still work like it’s new and the best part is if I just need the bed I can pull the pin and filp the ball and have the whole bed

A very nice well built hitch. My son and I installed this hitch in 3.5 hours. The instructions were a little vague, but the video that etrailer provided for a 2001 GMC Crew Cab with a short bed, was similar to my 2003, an was very helpful. We removed the rear wheels, and had to cutout a section of heat shield, and cut a v shape in the bed. We didn't have to touch the exhaust, like the video instructed. The braces were a little tight to get in place, but weren't that difficult. We used a tractor, and chain to hold tension on the hitch while we bolted it together. All said and done, I would say make it a 2 man job, and you will be pleased with the results....

A friend recommended adding this hitch when I purchased my 5th wheel RV. It is all he said and then some. Absolutely easy to install and I'm completely satisfied with how it handles my RV. Highly recommend this hitch to anyone considering it. Great product at a great price.

2007 GMC Sierra New Body

Installed very easily and looks great. Really taking my time with multiple breaks it took about 6 hours total and I used another person for about 1 hour to help hold and lift. To hold the main component under the truck bed before bolting I used a large 'S' hook with heavy duty screwdriver and small blocks of wood in the truck bed. I was able to wedge screwdriver and hold turnover in place while I bolted it to rails below. Reminder, do not tighten anything until its all bolted together... makes adjusting much easier and then you can tighten it all up. Very SOLID construction and heavy duty steel, I really like the quality of it.

Works perfect. I like it a lot better than a 5th wheel plate or rails. Takes up no room in the bed at all. Very easy to change the ball and Very easy to install. I took the bed off because I’m fat and Also wanted extra room to tighten everything with an impact gun. Good price for the purpose it serves. Just wish adapters for 5th wheels were a little cheaper

This product was well worth the money spent, very well built and was easy to install, it took my son and myself about 2 1/2 hours to do it. I will use this hitch to pull a 30 foot 5th wheel travel trailer. I am glad to get rid of the regular Reese 5th wheel hitch in the back of my pick up opened up the back so I can put things in there flat with out having the rails in the bed. I would like to thank Mariah and Stacey for all the help they gave me. There was a small shipping problem prior getting everything shipped, but when I called them and told them what was going on it was taken care of immediately, instead of a 5 to 7 day shipping it was here at my home in 3 days. I would recommend this hitch to anyone who wants to have a well constructed goose hitch under the bed of their pickup. Again I want to thank Mariah and Stacey for their help in doing what they did. Hope that their boss reads this. All I can say is OUTSTANDING LADIES, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

The video showed a cross member with a huge cutout, mine didn't have it, so I'll probably have to reroute some hoses, but other than that, it's great. A little much for one guy alone, but doable.

From our perspective the B & W Turn Over Ball and mounting bracket is the "gold standard" for gooseneck towing. We routinely use our gooseneck trailers to tow near capacity loads of logs, machinery, and other materials. The B & W kit performs as well as the welded in place mounts we have used in the past!

The hitch and controller was installed on a 2002 Chevy 2500HD. It took roughly 15 min to install the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller, plug it in and program it. As far as the B&W Turnover Ball Hitch, I cut the hole in the bed and cut the heat shield out the day before while I was waiting for the hitch to arrive. The next day my parts arrived, I laid out all the parts to make sure everything was there and then started the install. I didn't want to cut the 1"x1/2" notch out of my fender well to get the angle iron in so I spent about 15 min. trying to get it up on top the frame from underneath the truck. A waste of time. Do like the instructions say, cut the notch and slide it straight across the top of the frame. It will save time and aggravation. After getting both braces in place I ran a piece of rope down thru the hole and pulled the hitch plate up into place and tied it off. I installed all the bolts finger tight, put the side plates on and tightened everything up. It looks nice and I saved myself a $435.00 installation fee. With out a lift and without taking my rear tires off it took about 3 1/2 hrs. to install by myself. The only thing I want to say to B&W is don't place the heavy metal hitch parts on the booklet with the packets of Lithium Grease in it, they bust as the picture shows. Last but not least, thank you Sherry for all your help with my order and getting it to me quick in such short notice. I really appreciated it.

I'm a cattle rancher, so this is about my sixth time putting in a gooseneck hitch. I guess you could say I know what I'm doing when it comes to installing them. They weren't always B&W hitches that I installed. Some brands were real nightmares. In my opinion B&W has made a superior product in there hitch, with instructions to match. You have clearly stated things that need to be removed to facilitate installing. Your simple steps are also clear and concise. I thought it was also refreshing that there weren't pages and pages of instructions to confuse an installer. Some people (me) are more visual so I would like to see more pics of the install, although the pics you have are very helpful. Well done B&W,and thanks to your outfit for a quality American product that wasn't made in China.

I would highly recommend this Hitch to anyone looking to purchase a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch on their trucks. Great product, thanks.

Those two part numbers are the same. The # BWGNRK1067 and the # BWGNRK1067-5W represent the exact same product. Since this kit is in our fifth wheel and gooseneck hitch fitguide we change the part number slightly to organize it in our systems. I spoke to my contact at B&W about the issues you are having with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit part # BWGNRK1067 on your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. • Will B&W Gooseneck Hitch Fit on 2003 GMC Sierra 6-1/2' Bed with Spray-In Bed Liner
The spray-in bed liner for your 2003 GMC Sierra isn't thick enough to cause any issues for the installation of the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1067. The only time that a bed liner is an issue is when it is a drop-in bed liner and even then you would still be drilling through the entire bed of your truck so the measurements and holes sizes wouldn't change. If you are going to be towing a gooseneck trailer with your Sierra then you will want to use a hitch...

  • Frame Differences Between 2007 Silverado Classic 3/4 and 1 Ton Trucks When Choosing Gooseneck Hitch
The 1st generation Silverado/Sierra (1999-2006 and 2007 "Classic" model) 3/4 and 1 ton models use the same frame, but the suspension found on the 1 ton 3500 is stronger. In terms of choosing a gooseneck hitch, for the 2007 Classic 2500 (same body style as the 2006), you'd want to use the B&W Turnover Ball, part # BWGNRK1067 that you mentioned. If you don't already have a trailer connector installed in the truck bed, you can install one using part # 41157. I've linked you to install...
